Definitely explore more than anything. It seems like there is so much to do in this game that if anyone thinks its repetitive then they are making it repetitive.

Re: No Man's Sky
Just saw this article/opinion piece on GS about playstyles in NMS
Destroy, or Preserve?
http://www.gamespot.com/articles/the.../1100-6442225/After all, Hello Games says really special lifeforms exist, but they pop up on only 1 in 100 million planetsComment

Re: No Man's Sky
My guess is that a lot of players, in order to compensate for the lack of PVP and/or multiplayer aspects of the game, will engage in an ultra destructive playstyle. They will want to make their mark in the universe in a way that they hope will be experienced by others, or at the very least try and make all of the alien factions hostile toward them so as to ramp up the the amount of combat/action in the game.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
Man, if this much stuff is hidden away to be found by only the most thorough and obsessive explorers, we could theoretically be playing this for years and making new discoveries.
And as bad as I am with putting games down before finishing them when new releases hit, this seems like the best of the "put it down for a few months before picking it back up" kind of games.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
Sean said it will take a lot of time to make such a damage. I think this destructive players will go back to GTA V and FPS cause they will be bored by NMS and think is minecraft in space. I would not care. The less of them the more for us.PS4 PSN: BlitzkriegBlue26 TWITCH: BlitzkriegBlueComment

You Sr. made me think and realize that people complaining about repetitive stuff should be stupid as ****. 18 quintillion planets FFS, the more strange more close u get to the center...PS4 PSN: BlitzkriegBlue26 TWITCH: BlitzkriegBlueComment

Re: No Man's Sky
I assume it is different.
On a side note, been watching Cosmos all day on Netflix. Getting so hyped.

Has there been any indication of non-planetary/star celestial formations? Like nebulae or anything of that sort?Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
So...I told myself I wasn't just gonna post over here every time the guy post something about the game on Reddit, but he did share some thoughts tonight and one in particular that raised my eyebrows. I will spoiler it.
Spoiler
https://www.reddit.com/r/NoMansSkyTh...x69z?context=3
He says he has found some form of life on every single planet he visited. I thought there was supposed to be a large majority of them barren? Makes me wonder what else they tweaked right before release to appease the masses....
Is it a huge deal? No, not really. But I guess I am kind of surprised, that's all.
Good question, I honestly have no idea but I feel it is something I should know after all the footage and pics I have seen of the game."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

I mean we were told this was the case multiple times. I mean I kinda get it, people wanna see all the crazy forms of live out there. But to me, the barren planets would be just as beautiful as the ones with life.
Maybe as you get out of the area you start in we will start seeing them. I just know he said life was rare. If they changed this at the last minute, not too happy about that.Last edited by PVarck31; 07-31-2016, 12:06 AM.Comment
