I should of kept the damn game lol. All these theories of how it is a fake is just mind boggling. The way they determined it is a fake is even nuttier.

        Re: No Man's Sky

No disrespect to anyone but the things this guy said on Reddit, and I've read tons the whole day, are very conflicting at some points. I mean, the way he explained stuff.

For me, NMS was always a game unlike gta battlefield cod Fifa madden fps and other RPGs. It was always about my experience in a universe 4 people created (remember the first E3 when we found out Sean had just told their employees about the game he and 3 more were making?) for us to explore.

I'm really concerned about the bugs and this Stone thing, sure. I don't like something that I can easily find and get to sell for huge amounts of money (he made a comparison of getting. 20-30k from cool stuff and 275k for this stones). I want to have trouble. I've liked the way we start the game, like in need, without giving spoilers.

But again when I saw the anger and hate on redditand the way this guy express himself, not concerned about the reactions of his words and with that feeling of he is the boss and know everything, even not showing more than the first half our, I started to not trust him.

I don't even trust that the thing he has is the final game anymore. Maybe it is, because of the guy from here that sold it to him (people from here are usually trust worthy) but as I said, I won't trust his opinion.

If it has it's bugs and this "exploit" isn't fixed or isn't an exploit I will just not use it a lot because I want to fight for my stuff, play my way without what I think is cheating.

The barren thing is going to be sad for me cause I wouldn't mind literally barren planets with hidden resources but the guy said the barrennes means more like you will only find one type of little dog as animal, resources and some simple plants. That would be better imo because of gameplay aesthetics. We probably won't see much of this animals, not all the time too, imo. So this doesn't bothered me a lot if what he said is true.

On the other hand of the stones, it may be something for the reviewers to fast forward to the center too. If it's not we will find out the reason.

So in the end of it I'm not too worried. He said there are a lot of WOW moments and I really think he didn't even saw the scratch surface of the game. I have high hopes for it yet even with the bad mouthing and probably bugs.

The good thing though is that here people are not dying like on Reddit and I think everyone should really wait the game come out and not get rush on opinions because of the way one guy sees the game.

        Cheers.

PS: I don't know Camp but as I said I trust people here on this forum. What I meant what that I don't trust the guy that decided to not post videos anymore and started talk "****" all the way. Without proving.

Where's Sean to explain some things?

I'm assuming either Sony or PR is keeping him from speaking for reasons.

All he has to say is: I didn't want anyone to view early footage because there are many issues being addressed in first patch. What he played is not the final product.

Of course that would unleash a million other questions but it at least makes people aware that the dev is working on things.

He already said they been working on a day one patch after the game went gold.

I know but that doesn't address any of the issues discovered.

I haven't been following this much and know nothing either way. I am conflicted how one single copy of No Man's Sky got in the wild. That's where my confusion comes in. I know some people, especially Flight, find games early. But this one is a little off to me.

The thing is there is more out there. My guy who gets copies from his distributor had 4 copies. All sold. The rumor that there is only one is so far from the truth. I helped another OSer get a copy yesterday. Copies are available if you have the connections.

Jumped back in because I just found out that CAMP is Reddit famous haha and wanted to see if others took note.

Accidentally ran across some posts that said some things but you know what, I'd rather know going in than not know going in and being pissed about it. I think I just want things to feel as new to me as possible, but maybe this game isn't built for every planet to possibly have anything happen. Maybe it's just not that kind of game, and if so that's unfortunate. But if I hold on long enough, I'm enticed to find out what's at the center of the universe for this game.

Pvarck, or anyone, what should the etiquette be moving forward? Just spoiler tag anything that could potentially be new information? The last thing I would want to do is hurt the experience for anyone, at all
I wanted to clarify that I left not because of what you posted, but because I knew that discussions were about to start happening and things with this game were going to start leaking. All you did was say, "AND THEY'RE OFF!" It was nothing that you did haha, except you gave the warning sign that things were going to happen. So in a way, I actually have to thank you.

The copy I bought was up on eBay/Craigslist and Offer up. Nobody made a offer. I did and that's how I got it. I paid $150. He's a seller with a 100% rating as well. I just happened to be the lucky guy who saw it and acted on it.

On top of what Camp said there are other copies already being played as well. A guy uploading his stream to pornhub, it was ten minutes of footage. People are just, wisely so, staying quiet about it given the absolute ****show that is going on right now
