I would be lying if I didn't say I was a bit nervous about this game under-delivering. It just seems like its either gonna be this monumental revolutionary game or a total flop.

No Man's Sky
How would you patch problems in this game if you have to recreate it? You could have some bad bugs and the devs may never know about it. It could be because no one discovered it or only 1 person did.
Or if a bug only causes problems for one person because they are the only ones who've found that planet but you multiply that by 1000 it seems like it could get crazy.Last edited by dickey1331; 04-14-2016, 11:56 PM.MLB: Texas Rangers

This one is my most anticipated game of this generation, which so far has been pretty boring imo.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

I'm forcing myself not to watch all these videos posted on here but it's hard to resist, I hear that the game keeps looking cooler and cooler"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

It will be interesting to see how much time most people who buy this game end up actually putting into it. It isn't for me, since characters and narratives (even if they're mediocre ones) drive my drive my gaming choices, but it will be fun reading about the experiences of those who do play it.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

I plan on keeping a detailed lot of my adventures, much like the way people write up their personal sports games dynasty/franchise blogs on here.
I can't wait. I want to build everything myself from scratch so I must not get the special edition, or whatever it's called, intentionallyLast edited by The JareBear; 04-18-2016, 08:24 PM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: No Man's Sky
I'm with the crowd that a lot of this game still leaves a good amount of questions.............. but I love space and exploration so much that I am so torn on whether or not to get this day 1.
I just want to know if we can discover species that have an impact on the galaxy, something that provides a resource that can be a game changer. Or can I find new resources that can cause a solar system to completely change and sort of enter a golden age. Do aliens progress at all or are they static in their power, ships, settlements, etc? Are we able to develop our own technologies somewhat? Do the elements on the periodic table in this game have a great number of characteristics to where we're able to mix and match them in a way that we can create our own fuels, ammos, materials, etc that have a variety of quality to them?
Or is this game really just a vast open space frontier filled with static aliens, animals that are only different in appearance for the most part, and resources that are limited to one or two roles in the game? That's what I worry about. The scale of this game is amazing, but if I can't expirement with everything I'm given and make my own discoveries, then that really kills a lot of the exploration to me.Last edited by canes21; 04-19-2016, 09:32 AM.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I'm hoping it'll be crazy awesome, just have reservations. Since I'm not the get at release anyways it doesn't matter for me though. I'll wait and hear what everyone here says :-)Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
