Re: No Man's Sky
I saw this semi-review on Reddit. It isnt a negative review I actually think he gives a thoughtful take on his personal experience.

But I can't shake the feeling that I've already run out of truly interesting things to do. I've already seen pretty much all the groundbreaking stuff there is to see at this point. Maybe the trees on the next planet will be purple. Maybe that creature with wings will have horns. Maybe that space pirate will roll left instead of right. Those are the kinds of variations you're going to get in this game. I personally do not feel that these amount to a premium price tag"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: No Man's Sky
Spent about 5 hours collecting the resources needed and exploring the planet I was on. This was with my DLC. I also befriended the atlas so we shall see what happens. I didn't go into hyper drive as I left the planet and just started scanning the moons and planets in the area which are all undiscovered. The planet is called Mollusk (image 1) due to the clam shell type rocks everywhere. However, just to show how your story can unfold? I was readying to go to a star base when scanning, I found one of the planets in the area with a message beacon (image 2). I landed on this acid type planet (image 3) to investigate further and decided to call it for the night when something spooked me. Jumped back in my ship fast.
Loving the game thus far. Anyone else in the Euclid Galaxy?Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
I think the 100% is objectives on said planet. Not every inch, ocean, cavern, etc..
You will need to have an upgraded tool as well, so you can dig deeper and scan more to discover if there is hidden caverns and the like though. So you would have to leave and then go back later on.
I did find a planet in my starting system that is covered in Gold formations. I mean literally 200/300 foot tall pillars of gold. I have been mining non stop all evening. I am almost up to 1 million U. Then I am going to buy me this rocking new ship. Its is fully loaded and has 27 open slots for cargo! In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

One thing I don't know is whether it maximizes the bar or gives you another "+" icon. What I also don't know is what those "+" icons do, and if that's a matter of using one every time your bar goes all the way down... like a cat with nine lives kind of thing.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
So I'm still trying to figure it out. I asked the same thing, and realized that apparently Health and Life Support are two different things. Life Support is a bar on the bottom left, and Health is a bar on the top left.

I also harvested something that said Maximum Shield but my hazard suit stayed drained so there's a shield somewhere too I guess.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks
