Re: No Man's Sky
Game crashed for me quite a bit, just crashed like 3 or 4 times today. It's not so bad, honestly, game saves enough, not usually out of my ship for more than a few minutes. I'd say half of the crashes are before it even loads in to the actual game. Game crashing the PS4 is obnoxious though. Guess that sort of thing happens with seemingly no real qa for a patch that radically changed the game.
In other news, I'm like fluent in gek now. Their story is interesting, want to see what the vykeen story is like. There a third alien race?Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
That video I was talking about earlier:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Sl2PvDQHIrQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Kept getting hassled by pirates, attacked by one and barely survived killing it. Attacked again by a single pirate, ran down to planet because why not? Decided to upgrade my ship. No pirates after I exited the station and arrived at a planet, leaving that planet though I was attacked by THREE pirates. Killed them all no sweat.
BTW this is the most expensive ship I've seen since I upgraded to a 1.6 million 24 slot:
Look at that thing.
Also ran across the worst system ever. One planet was hot and had near constant dust storms. Next planet? Cold with near constant storms. Last planet? Hot again, no storms just so hot it melted your thermal protection like you were in a storm. Fun.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
I had stumbled upon a wrecked ship on my starter planet and after scouring the parts around it, I left.
Just found out that I could have taken that ship instead and now I'm so upset lol.NFL: Bills

Re: No Man's Sky
So, I've been looking all over for the final species on my starter planet. A few times I've run into flocks of these small bat type creatures, when I scan them they have dots that show up like they are something to identify but it never identifies them so I move along figuring they are not what I'm looking for. I've tried shooting them down but they don't seem to take damage either. Is it possible these are what I'm looking for, if so how can I get them scanned?Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
Yea I found one too, but you have to fix it. I didn't want to have to take the time to find everything to fix it, and I didn't get the Atlas to start so I wanted to keep my ship marked so I could make my way back for the atlas.

Re: No Man's Sky
I've read about people having to shoot them down. Others have said they were able to find a suitable vantage point to scan them.
They are the last species I need to find on my planet as well. I have been trying to scan them for a while."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: No Man's Sky
SpoilerYou get the v1 pass from Nada and Polo after a few warp jumps. Upon entering their system you'll be notified of a "space anomaly" and they're in there. The Korvax Polo will give you the Atlaspass.Comment
