Re: Far Cry 4
They are absolute dicks man. They'll swoop in and pick up some poor defenseless pig or goat and then drop them to the ground from 100ft in the air. Its hilarious, but they are more evil than Pagan Min.

Re: Far Cry 4
Guess I just need to open more map.
One thing I've found fun is the supply pick-ups and drop offs. The timed drop-off has turned into a total gong show in the 3 I've done so far. In one of them I had 3 dogs and 4 soldiers chasing me. Reached the door with 1 second to spare, then had to turn around and start hacking away at the dogs.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 12-19-2014, 12:27 PM.Comment

Re: Far Cry 4
I'm having some trouble with a Bell Tower...
Tower is located NE for Ghale's homestead... I believe its the 3rd level, there's a climbing thing with the ropes hanging down but isn't anything I can stand on to reach it... There's one of the helicopter things near the tower but the ****ing thing freaks out when I try to go to the top with it.
Anyone come across this one yet? Fresh I know you said you've completed all the Towers.Last edited by The Kid 24; 12-22-2014, 04:01 PM.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: Far Cry 4
Sounds like it's one of those where you need to sprint and jump towards it and hit the climb button in mid air.
There's one I did later (near the airport) where you have to sprint and take a quick corner before jumping. Took me several tries. Very annoying.
That's one thing that's always irked me about Ubi's never-ending quest to make you climb things. They make it annoyingly difficult as you progress. Just let me climb to the top of the damn thing with no effort and get on with my looting and killing.Comment

Re: Far Cry 4
Honestly, I had more trouble climbing in FC3. Some of those were a pain in the ***. In FC4, I had some trouble just finding the start of some of the towers.

Re: Far Cry 4
I was going to clear out the last 3 outposts I have left in the south last night, but that turned into buying the items maps (just for the very southern section of the south) and figuring out ways to get to the masks that I've missed. I got most of the posters just by coming across them, but the masks and letters are way off the beaten path. I wandered around for 2 hours looting, knocking out karma events, getting masks, and fending off animals. This map is huge.
I'm at about 50% completion right now (don't have the north unlocked yet) and I think this game is about equal with FC3 for me so far.
Things I like about 4 over 3 -
The buzzer, access to syringe crafting within the weapon wheel, larger map size, more variety of side quests, world seems more alive in general (more animals, pockets of random enemies still exist after you liberate area's outpost), rampaging with elephants, the free radio guy's hilarious segments.
Things I like about 3 over 4 -
The character you control feels like he's more than just there. Ajay just shows up to bring his mom's ashes to some place. He seems afraid on the bus at the checkpoint, but the first time he's handed a gun, it's just time for chaos? OK then.
Music is way better in 3 - haven't had a moment nearly as good as burning a weed field with Damien Marley in the background yet in this game. Also, don't just give me a little tease of The Clash in the opening sequence, play more of that song during some opening credits or something.
I'll wait until I'm done to comment more on which story I like. One thing I will say - and this goes back to Ajay being an empty character - is I feel like these missions I'm doing don't have a purpose. It feels like everyone's just lying and using me to do their dirty work. Maybe that's what it's supposed to be, but why am I just doing these things no questions asked? Is my character really that easily manipulated? In 3, you had a clear reason for everything you did, here not so much - at least at the point where I'm at.Comment
