I got goose bumps jus hearing u say hissing and latching on. So are they jus in one area or all through the game?

They aren't all that prevalent. But you can't go wrong with gtav either they are both excellent games!!!!
As far as the snakes, heck it might be good therapy to be able to turn around n just blow their head off in the game.
Snakes don't bother me, but throw a spider in.... And I'll run like a little girl... Eeek but if there was spiders in this game, I'd be hunting them down just to destroy them!!! Lol

I'm with you on the spiders. I think God put those things on the planet just to MESS with me. Lol! I've been bitten TWICE by Brown Recluses. Not fun.

The snakes are typically on higher altitude paths and caves. Honestly, they're the least aggressive animal in this game since they only strike if you walk over top of them. You can hear them hissing within a reasonable distance so they're not really going to give you any "oh ****" moments.

I finally unlocked the North portion of the map the other night. It is even more perilous than the South. Not to mention it is more difficult to travel around as the traversable steeps of the first portion are replaced by rocky ridges that will be a literal dead end on some occasions.

How much of the story is left after this? I'm hoping a good chunk.

I want to unlock the North to finish the towers and outposts to get the signature guns but I also want a lot of the story left afterwards.

There's about 12-15 missions left IIRC.

yeah, I would say almost half ... it takes a while to unlock it, I've been doing a mix of posts, towers, main missions, side missions and outpost-missions as well as random exploring/hunting karma stuff.

I don't think anyone needs to wait until they've done everything possible to continue with the story. I'm on pace to finish with about 60 hours game time

Red boxed this yesterday. Seems like it has the making to be one of the best fps I've played campaign wise. Can anyone explain coop to me a little? If I hop it someones game does the progress count for my game?

If anyone has played borderlands is it seamless like that? Or if I do a side mission in coop do I have to do it again in my game? Thanks for any help. Thinking I'll pick it up soon.

It is not seamless like Borderlands. Nothing of real substance carries over to your game if you're the co-op partner (unfortunate).

In other news, I just need to do the passenger seat takedown in a co-op game to get a platinum trophy.

Ugh. Should have known better with ubisoft. Bought the game for myself and a friend thinking coop was going to be amazing. Not sure why they couldn't just do it right. Such an amazing game and world. Would have been awesome if it was setup like borderlands.

What does carry over? Hopefully at least money and xp. So I can invite him to my game to help with stuff? Then he can do the same?

Things like XP, weapons/inventory and skill upgrades do carry over. Just not the side mission progress itself
