Re: Far Cry 4
Anyone know how to find arenas?
I want to unlock that signature gun.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: Far Cry 4
Yogi and doofus are annoying, though. FC3 had some very fun drugged out missions, but these Yogi ones are pretty mundane.
You unlock it during the main storyline. The arena is pretty easy to rank up. I need to go back and get to level 10 (currently at 5).

Re: Far Cry 4
What is the objective in the arena?
Also I see it says 10 remaining... There's 10 arenas?Last edited by The Kid 24; 12-01-2014, 03:12 PM.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: Far Cry 4
There is one arena. It's where you're introduced to Noore.
There are 3 rounds that you have to survive and are awarded points for take downs, kills, etc. At the end of each match you're graded and receive points that allow you to rank up within the arena. Each level changes what loadout you start with. I'm guessing there is a max of 10 levels to rank up, but I'm only on 5 so I can't say for certain.

Re: Far Cry 4
I like it, but it seems no one here even touches it as I asked a few pages back and no one commented.
It's different than say COD where it's two teams and it's just TDM. You go 5v5 with two very different teams with objectives. Like CTF, a domination type game mode, but with separate objectives along the way, like turning on/off the bell tower to reveal the enemies location.
You play as either the Rakshakakakaka or whatever their name is, and the royal army. Both have different abilities.
It's fun and I've enjoyed. Haven't had issues finding games.Comment

How does it compare to FC3 multiplayer? I am in the minority when I say I really liked FC3 MP.
I read that for MP in FC4 one group cannot use guns while the other group you are going against can? Is there any balance to that? Also on FC3 online there are silver and gold maps that are built by random people that you can play matches in. Will this be available for FC4..?Comment

The map creator is also incredibly deep and has tons of potential - although I wish there was a way to build maps on a PC. I was just playing around with it the other day and it is a bit difficult using a controller.----------------------

Re: Far Cry 4
Essentially. Each match consists of 3 rounds that will, theoretically, increase in enemy difficulty. The first round it's hardest for me because you start out with only a pistol. Typically there will be different enemy factions in the first round so you can also hide out in the starting area and wait for them to kill each other. There are also animals thrown in for good measure.

Re: Far Cry 4
Guys I know this might sound silly but how common are snakes in this game? I have a phobia of them in real life and with the xbox one graphics being life like. I really would hate to see them. I can't even watch them on tv so it's a real fear. Thank uComment

Re: Far Cry 4
The snakes are not terribly frightening looking, they do cause one to jump when they latch on though as it happens quickly. The good thing is you can hear the hissing when you are near one so if you are moving slow you have time to turn back before getting bit. I'm not a big snake fan either, I hear the hissing I change direction. Pretty much anything that jumps out at me quickly gives me that creepy feeling. I do a lot of "running away" in this game.Comment
