Oh well I read that the bundle purchase has a PvP mode so I wasn't sure if that was the entire multiplayer mode or not.

BS that ubisoft is charging anything multiplayer at launch.

I love this game and everything... But I agree with the bolded and also miss the tropical setting.

If agree with that. I don't think the character development was much different in fc3, I think maybe nostalgia has stepped in a bit for some folks...

He felt like more of a person than just an avatar. There was legitimate motivation to his jungle rampages and actual acknowledgement of them and there was a nice sense of progression into unrestrained jungle killer.

I'm only 1/3 of the way through the story, but Ajay doesn't have nearly half of that development. He's thrown into his parents' homeland and picks up a gun for the revolution without hesitation and roams the mountains killing everything in his path.

Far Cry 4 is much better than Far Cry 3 imo. I don't give a damn about the main character. I'm not playing the game to bond with a character, i'm playing to enjoy all of the activities and take in the sites. I enjoy the setting of Far Cry 4 more than 3.

I can play pvp and I just have a normal game. What they gave me is a code to allow 10 people to play coop with me for free - IE buddies can play it with me so that they don't even need to own the game at all!

That's value add, not BS charging for anything.

I'm not sure if you can give more than one key to a friend, but they are limited to 2 hours. Which really should be plenty of time to convince them that they need this game in their life.

The past two nights I've just been sweeping the map working from point A to point B and getting all the items in between on my way there. I think this is the real strength of the game and is what makes the game world on the next level compared to FC3. Watching the inhabitants of the world interact with one another is amazing. Combine that with just how massive this map is both horizontally and vertically and it really feels like a living thing.

I was hunting rhino the other night for crafting. I managed to clean kill one after about 12-15 arrows. During that time we happened upon an intersection where the Royal Army crossed paths with an elephant. The rhino I was hunting decided to tag team the truck and its occupants with the elephant. Returning it was apparently still in an aggressive state as it proceeded to charge me. I retreated into the water only to be jumped by a waiting crocodile. Regaining my composure after wrestling with the water demon I returned my attention to the rhino and finally was able to skin his hide.

Last night I took up an elephant and was bashing and charging everything in our path. Its hilarious to charge into a truck and have the driver and passengers all fall out of the vehicle dead. Not to mention using the elephant's trunk to fling up enemies into the air and have them go limp and fall to the ground with a hard thunk.

Also, apparently people lose their minds when they see an elephant because I had some innocents literally run right in front of us and I got deducted for their deaths. Suicide by elephant perhaps?

This game sounds amazing, my wife was planning on getting it for me for xmas, but now I think I might go get it as I'm impatient. It's either that or pick up the collection pack for ps3 that had Farcry 1-3 for 25 bucks at walmart and play the heck out of those until December 25th (as I have not played any of them yet). Decisions, decisions.

Let your wife get it for you. Nothing better than having someone get you a gift you will really enjoy or giving a gift that someone really wants. Its a win/win for the giver and receiver.

I agree FC4 is an improvement over FC3, I still really liked the setting in FC3. Not necessarily over FC4 but it was gorgeous as well.

And I think Brody did have a little more life to him. A lot of people who play games with a strong main protagonist do enjoy having more personality to them.

I haven't come across the crocodile yet. They aren't as obvious as they are in fc3 are they?

Just slid down a hill side and there was a rhino..... Threw some c4 down and blew him up, it was amazing.

What the hell, I need some damn rhino skin to craft something and none of them are around where they are supposed to be. Screw rhinos!
