Not going to say you are playing it wrong, but everyone should put perk points into Mysterious Stranger. Best perk in the Fallout series.

Suggestion on breaking down junk.

After you scrap one of the decrepit houses in Sanctuary, use the foundation as a neat placemat for dropping all your junk. You won't lose track of anything and it all falls in a nice, neat circle around you.




I don't know if it's true, but from what I've read, after creating a supply line, you are supposed to be able to access all your materials from all your settlements. The materials won't show up when you look through the transfer option, but they are supposed to be accessible when you start crafting and building stuff.

I "played" for a couple hours today.

By played I mean I took out the trash around sanctuary, there was a lot of it. Then did the same thing around the truck stop.

Then it hit me! I built a staircase to the roof of the truck stop and moved all the work benches and some containers up there. All I need is some more cloth so I can make a bed and then I'll throw up a little roofing and I'll have myself a little rooftop hideout/lookout/base of operations.

I did. I'd rather listen to a female narrate as the game goes along.

I love stumbling into areas I'm not ready for. I die a horrible death and make a note to come back when I'm better equipped. It's been a long 7 year wait for this game.

Other than people thinking the graphics are bad, the only other complain I've heard of Fallout 4 so far is that the game is bad because you can't play online. Had a group of friends say the game is stupid because you can't play co-op and that it doesn't have any online features.

Then I finished up the Sanctuary quests with Sturges, and realized how you can move and scrap all these worldly items... Wow, I had no idea it was like that

Annnnnd that was all I did for the rest of my evening. Who needs to shoot stuff anyways.

Ok been playing for a few hours and man I'm loving it.
I haven't had any issues getting ammo etc.. Ricky so don't know what to tell you man.
Took care of a few raiders with 0 issues..

Anyways I'm going to be making sure I understand the breaking down of things before I do much of anything else... lol

I'm screwed I think. At a part in the story where these guys are just overpowering me and I have nothing on me as far as health and throwing items go. Just crappy guns. Frustrating.

Where are you in the story? If your not already, loot every dead body. I'm a level 13, cycling through 5 different guns with different ammo and I have at least 200 rounds for each gun. loot everything that isnt nailed down, sell stuff to buy ammo, and upgrade the guns you have.

As far as bobby pins, vendors sell them. I would also recommend getting the perks that help with lock picking and hacking, I have passed up quite a bit of loot..
