at EB Games. Have you guys heard about it? It's a limited edition and exclusive to EB Games and one other place(I can't remember who). It also comes with a copy of Halo with sneak previews of Halo 2. It costs $169, but you can get $85 in trade-in with your Xbox and $15 for your copy of Halo. If you're interested, you had better hurry and pick up one. Each EB Games only got about 10-15 consoles.

I thought about that, but, decided not to worry with it. The only two games that I have that would be affected are Splinter Cell:Pandora Tommorow and GTA Vice City. But, I only recently started playing them, so, I don't mind starting again. You would probably have to get a memory card if you wanted to save the games on your hard drive.Comment

I want to pick one up next week, because my Gamestop is currently sold out. I was going to buy just the X-box for $149, but this one comes with the S controller and Halo, plue it is green

Yes, it does. The controller also has the Halo emblem in the spot where the Xbox emblem usually is. The console really does look good.
If I were you, I would definitely pay the extra $20 to pick this one up. I think there will be a high collectibility level for this console in the future. At least, that's my guess.Comment

if you are a collector, and have a pretty good collection of old consoles, then i would say sure. But for the regular gamer then its just a system to play games on. Hell, i didnt even buy a new xbox, i got a refurbished one. I care about functionality more than i do about the console's visual display. I personally think that there is no reason ( other than for a collector) to go out and buy the halo-induced xbox.
That said, if you dont mind shelling out the extra cash, then go for it.
