Still, I'm really missing the dedicated combat/predator challenge mode.

On the flipside I changed the default Robin skin to the new 52 alternate with a quickness. I also dabbled with the New 52 Skin for Bats, but decided to go back to the default aka Injustice suit for the first run. The Justice League 3000 suit looks bad. It'll go well with the 1966 Batmobile skin. I'm expecting there will be an Animated Series pack eventually.

Anyway, the chatter seems to be very helpful when looking for where to go for the side missions. I was gliding through and had a helicopter pilot come across the scanner with the location of a dead body to check out. Of course I was on the way somewhere so I neglected to investigate so I don't know for certain if the chatter actually helps.

I've played about 6 hours and have yet to find a Riddler trophy in my travels. That's not a good omen to me.

I'm near the end of the game and the over use of the batmobile in the later part of the game is INSANE. And it's not even the fact they make you use it, it is the BS they want you to do with it. I'm telling you guys when you make it to the later parts of the game, even if you LOVE the batmobile, it will make you want to snap your controller in half and turn the game completely off. It is that bad.

They really should have called this game Batmobile No Limits.

While to me it is city but with a different story. One of the most underrated games ever. I had like zero glitches and you talk about missed counter prompts and control issues and I have heard about those before but I didn't get those. I got I guess the only glitch free Origins game out there. If I never saw reviews I would have never know that origins had any issues. City is slightly better but that is only because its story is better and its soundtrack. Origins story is very overrated out side of soundtrack and story it is the same game to me. Now asylum is hard to go back to because of how much smaller the game is and because of not having things like double counters, beat down ect. But not having challenge maps in Knight is a big back step.

This has been the only negative for me so far, Alfred gave me some Intel on the serial killer so I went to the waypoint and the actual advancement point was no where near the waypoint. Took me forever to actually find it.

I really enjoyed Origins but I definitely agree it's the worst. You can clearly tell two things. 1) It was rushed out. 2) Rocksteady didn't develop it. There's a lot of framerate drops, freezes, and strange glitches to be found.

Also, the fights get to be just ridiculous sometimes. Even AK doesn't have some of the insane mix of enemies that that game had, and that was supposed to be Batman's first year lol.

This right here is something they don't seem to bother to tell you. To further progress in the side missions, sometimes it will take advancing the main story, but for the most part what you have to do is just explore the city and you'll find them. Sometimes you'll get chatter from thugs or GCPD saying they found a dead body, a burning Bat-symbol, etc, and it'll tell you how far away you are from it but only until that person stops talking.

I've almost saved all of the firefighters just by gliding through the city and finding packs of thugs together. Usually if you turn on Detective Mode while exploring and find packs of armed thugs (they'll show up orange in Detective Mode), it'll lead you to something.

I enjoyed all the Batman games (including Origins) but I just can't get into this. The batmobile is annoying IMO. I am only about 2 hours in so hopefully it will pick up for me.

For a noob that's never played this series, I'm thinking of getting it as it looks awesome.

Will I be blown away or disappointed? Is it on the Metal Gear Solid/type climax level (for you old-school PS folks)?

Depends. You can only call it when they wanr you to.

One mission you climb buildings with it. .the next bats refuses to acknowledge he has a batmobile

Also im only 30% into the story & i believe i already know who the Arkham Knight truely is..

I won't reveal the name but from advancing tru part of the story it kinda gives it away...

Remember the 1st encounter with the Arkham Knight where batman saves the firefighter??

Well remember when the Arkham Knight army had him trapped & he tells Batman i know how you think & i know your moves.. & then proceeds to tell his army not to shoot him in the middle part of his batsuit. & to shoot in a certain part??

Well let me put it like this no super villien or criminal is going to know batman's batsuit weakness & how he thinks & all.

Only those who have been batman partner like Robin & Nightwing for example would know the weakness of the batsuit..

Now advance to the mission where you meet Harly Quinn 4 1st time since Arkham City just play tru that mission & you will see where im getting at

I honestly believe he is the man behind the mask based on all the stuff he has said so far.. Seems to conriencdental...

Dont spill the name just let me know if you thinking its who i believe it is..

Im not sure how close i am to the ending but would love to see if i end up being correct in my assumption..

That & i still dont have most of the upgrades done points seem to be hard to comeby this time..

Also there an easter egg in the clock tower after u long had the hacking device & after u know what happened to BG & he tells alfred the you know what.. & retrun to the clock tower hack the panel oppisite of where the statue would be the batman uses to access bat computer.

After opening it u will find a sweet hidden gem again wont spoil it here

But so far im loving every moment of this game..
