Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
I understand your frustrations with the whole batmoblie thing. I do agree that it should of been more of a choice. But I guess developing the boards and missions would of been way harder. Which does make this feel linear within a objective/mission. When you think of Splinter Cell there were at 3-4 ways within a mission. But it's still a stealth game.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Thats Dumb on Easy Mission it should be Easy not hard its wrong to make it on easy...
There needs to be an easeier way if destroying it or get him without being seen or chased after at high speed by a big tank im sorry but a tank that size shouldn't have that kind of speed to get mutiple hits on batmobile
As there simply no way to out run him without getting hit whoever bright idea of a mission this was i hope he gets fired uncalled for im simply not going to beat this gm now the more i fail the madder i get the less i enjoy this gm.
Up to this mission i was having fun not all that fun i had is gone im bout done with this gm if they dont lower the diffculity in a patch i will not reccomend this gm to anyone thx

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
So all 3 of the arkham games before this took me around 14 hours to beat the first time and around 12 hours to beat after the first time with out doing any side stuff. I am around 11 hours into this game so I think I must be close to the end. So my ratings could change but after playing about 11 hours in this game I think my ratings of the arkham games would go something like this.
1. Arkham City 10- I cant really think of any thing that could have made the game better. It is just about a perfect game and it has a much better story then the really overrated Origins story. This game is like my second favorite video game ever made!
2. Arkham origins 10- I know ever one said this game was a glitch mess but I guess I got the only origins copy with out a bunch of glitches or something because I have only seen about 5 glitches and have only seen each one a few times. This game to me is basically City but with a different story and a story that was much worse then city. Also city runs smooth 100% of the time where origins about 15% of the time will slow down to like 15-20 FPS.
3. Arkham knight 9- Still a great game but there is basically no boss fights in less this story is way longer then I think or they just come in all of a sudden at the end. People talked about how the other 3 arkham games and how boss fights where the weakest part of the game. Now that is true but that is not because the boss fights are bad but because the boss fights are just good where the rest of the game is amazing. While at least the other 3 had boss fights there are like none in this game. The batmobile is used to much like people have already said.
Now 3erd the biggest let down no challenge maps. All of the 3 arkham games before had challenge maps and the challenge maps are 1 of the best things about the arkham games. With out the challenge maps this games replay value has dropped by like half. There is no reason the game should not have challenge maps. Both challenge maps and boss fights practically not being in the game is a big let down and something we had no idea about before the game came out. If the game had challenge maps the game would be more like a 9.7 or something. No challenge maps is enough to almost take a whole point of the game by its self that is how big challenge maps are in these games. This game even though I still think it is great may be my most disappointing game of all time because I thought it would surpass city has the best in the franchise but I think it has taken some steps back from city.
Akham asylum 8.5- Still a good game but with the game being 5 times smaller then city and 20 times smaller then knight and no side missions and with not having some of the combat stuff like beat down, double counters ect it is hard to even go back and play this game now.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
I picked it up tuesday and played for a while, but i can't get into it. It should be called Batman: Arkham Batmobile, too much reliance on it. Honestly the game is boring to me and I loved AC. Went back to playing The Witcher lol.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
The cloudburst tank really isn't that hard to take out. Just aim for the cloudburst on the front of the tank.
Also, for those of you still somewhat early in the game -- UPGRADE THE BATMOBILE. It'll save you a lot of headaches later on. Upgrade the 60mm cannons, fully upgrade the armor, etc. You also might want to upgrade the Afterburner to level 2 with one mission towards the end.
EDIT: BTW, I'll finally admit that there is too much use of the Batmobile in the main story, now that I'm at 89%. I still like the Batmobile and how it was implemented, and I still love the hell out of the game itself, but less definitely would have been more here.Last edited by BlueNGold; 06-26-2015, 08:46 PM.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Game beaten. The ending was pretty good over all. The last fight of the game definitely wasn't what I expected. Over all I would give this game a solid 8.5 out of 10. The over use of the batmobile really irritated the hell out of me. To me it distracted from the beauty of the game and natural flow of combat.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
I played for 7 straight hours today and barely felt it. I really like this game a lot, I want to put it over City because it should be, but I can't yet. If they fix up the PC version to make it run and look how it should, and then add in challenge maps (which Sefton Hill the game director acknowledged), it could be up there. I love the side missions. I finished a bunch today and am now 70% through the story, and 65% through the Most Wanted missions. I'm going to get probably close to 90% and then back off so that I can do all of the Riddler trophies and everything to get the 100% ending.Last edited by DieHardYankee26; 06-27-2015, 12:10 AM.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
If you look at the mission wheel (Most Wanted list or whatever it's called) and go to the top where the main story mission is, it gives a percentage of how far you are in the campaign.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Yes.
Rocksteady's final Arkham title is a welcome assault of comic-book bliss and stunning new-gen visuals.
Rocksteady makes a strong push for players to see all of it, so much so that it hurts the end-game experience. Once the final story mission is complete, some semblance of closure is delivered, but specific plot points are left dangling, and the credits don’t roll like you expect them to. The player is then asked to clean up some of the side content to initiate another story sequence that brings a new ending and, at long last, the credits. Getting this ending requires a fair amount of time be spent tracking down villains and cleaning up side activities, like rescuing all of the firefighters or taking down Arkham Knight’s outposts (both of which are welcome endeavors). But that isn’t it. To see the real, real ending, you need to complete all of the side content, including every Riddler challenge – which, if you’ve done this in previous games, is a serious time commitment. Most people will probably retreat to YouTube to view the final act.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it
