Yeah the frame rate makes it unplayable for me on XB1 when I am in a party but it's smooth when I'm not in one. Really weird.

Re: Assasins Creed Unity
I was aware that this game was having issues but this is nuts. I can't even get the game to load up. I tried at least 5 times now and it just keeps saying Please wait.
Between this and the new Halo I'm not sure what to think about these companys putting out these half-baked games. It's starting to become the norm it seemsThe poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Re: Assasins Creed Unity
Yeah it's not just them. A lot of games it seems at release are extremely buggy.
It finally loaded after sitting there for about 5 min. Thats just not normal. I think I am going to hold off on Far Cry 4. Might go with DA Inquisition. I'm giving it a go right now on EA AccessThe poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Re: Assasins Creed Unity
I was thinking of playing through this first before buying the new Dragon's Age but the reviews and comments in this thread changed my mind. I'll definitely wait for DA:I and then buy this later if they can get some of the technical issues patched up. There are too many games coming out to waste time with a buggy one that was rushed out too early to make the holidays.Last edited by Seahawk76; 11-13-2014, 07:26 AM.Comment

Re: Assasins Creed Unity
So I tried to play last night and my game crashed twice. When I was able to get it to boot up, Arno got stuck on a window and then fell through the world into a beautiful white void.
I did a live chat with a PSN agent and told them all this. They submitted a ticket for a refund and the agent told it would take 3-5 business days for the funds to go back into my wallet. If you guys are really unhappy, I would talk to PSN as soon as possible and tell them that you are having a horrible user experience and mention the newest update causing issues with the game.Comment

Re: Assasins Creed Unity
I played it and had fun. I don't Like how the single player mission challenges are not completely made aware to the user until the moment you're in the heat of battle.
EDIT: Yes load times are excruciatingly long, but I am patient.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Assasins Creed Unity
I want this game bad but I think im gonna wait til they fix stuff and also at a discount.
After watching MWN's review of his review copy, I figured its best for me to wait. Even watching Chris Smoove's lets plays you see glitches. In one scene a guy was about to shoot and he got stuck and couldnt move out of the way

Re: Assasins Creed Unity
I played through the first 2 memories last night and really enjoyed it. I did not experience any problems other than seeing some minor pop in. I did not see any framerate issues and I am very sensitive to them. It seems to be random and some people are experiencing problems and others are not. I'm not sure why that is the case. In any event, it looks like Ubisoft is aware of many of the issues complained of and is working on fixing them:

Re: Assasins Creed Unity
If there's a review embargo till after a game is released, major red flag. Ubi is the new EA.Last edited by Mabster; 11-13-2014, 12:50 PM.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks
