So utterly incorrect, I played all the assassin creed games even the ones on the handheld games and this Unity game is the worst by far. I put it down and I'm not sure I'll pick it back up at this point. It should be noted this is the lowest rated AC game to date per metacritic (slight update, Rogue is now 1 point lower than Unity on the PS3/PS4 platforms).

If you enjoy assassin creed games then the Rogue game is going to be a better choice as it follows the traditional style and is more in line with ones from the past. Some reviews I've read said it's a lot like Black Flag (sadly to me, as I hated being a 'pirate', it's an 'assassin's' game after all right?).

Man, I'm really enjoying this game too. Played a couple co-op heists with randoms to gain a little cash to spend and they're actually kinda fun. Nobody talks but it's not bad if you stick together. Once you get a little cash to spend, it's nice buying an outfit to suit your playstyle.. (stealth, armor, etc.). Game is not perfect, by any means, but there's definitely some fun to be had. Lots of things to do too..

And I have learned multiple times, don't let the reviews sway you from giving it a shot. So many games I have played, gotten bad reviews, yet enjoy the game imensely.

So utterly subjective is what I think you meant. Sorry you don't like it.

I really don't see what's so different between the general story in this game and past games. You're an assassin, you go do assassin stuff. Seems pretty straight forward. Black Flag was definitely away from that even more so than Unity. I don't see how anyone can compare Black Flag to Unity.

No kidding. Kinda like Unity. Glad I didn't just read reviews, cause I love it.

Nope, so utterly factually incorrect. I'm not referring to the story part of your statement, but toward the part that says if you enjoyed past Assassin Creed games you will enjoy this one. I enjoyed most of the other ones, but this one is horribly implemented to the point it's labor some to play. I hope they ditched the entire design team that did this one and get some better direction moving forward. The fact that shadow of Mordor has better fighting gameplay mechanics than Assassins Creed is shameful. AC has had more than enough iterations to improve their gameplay mechanics.

It has some control and technical issues for sure, but it's still pretty subjective bro. It's based upon opinion. It's still at the roots AC. Controls change here and there over plenty of other games/titles, it's different here really.

I will agree I liked the fighting a bit more in past AC titles, but it's not close to a game breaker for me.

Hey fellas, quick question...I've always enjoyed the AC series I'll hopefully pick this up after Christmas! ...I'd like to go for the platinum trophy can I obtain them on my own?...or do I need to team up with someone for the co-op?...I never liked previous AC online so I don't wanna have to grind it out!

Patch 4 is 40GB on Xbox One... it basically replaces the whole game lol.

We have received and confirmed reports that some Xbox One players who have previously applied Patch 3 are seeing a 40GB download instead of the expected 6.7GB download. Unfortunately, an issue with the patch downloading process is replacing the entire game instead of just the parts affected by the patch. This is obviously not the expected behavior, and we apologize that many of you will have to wait longer than expected to complete this download. This issue isn't causing any other problems and once the download is completed players will have the most-up-to-date and fully patched version of Assassin's Creed Unity.

We are working with Microsoft on a solution to reduce the total download to the intended size so that you can get back into the game faster, but as of now we have no ETA on when this will be resolved.

Currently there is one known workaround: Owners of the disc version of the game can uninstall the game and reinstall it. On starting the game, the patch process will start with the correct download size.

lol man im so glad I didn't bother with this version. I saw some real bad pop-ins worse than before just yesterday from someone on neogaf. No idea what happened with this one but here's hoping to a better iteration next game.. I enjoy this series but Im not even buying this on sale.

What a disaster and embarrassment for Ubisoft this whole thing has been. I just got the Xbox One AC bundle and had downloaded the game but haven't booted it up yet after the download. Don't think i'll bother trying to play it for a while until I hear this stuff has been worked out. I hope it's enough of a PR nightmare for Ubisoft that they re-think this yearly game cycle. That's just not enough time to make a deep game in the manner that AC is supposed to be.

Interesting, I played it this morning and it didn't ask me to download anything. I have a digital copy, so do I have to delete it and download again, will there be a prompt to download? I'm confused at this point.
