It take like 5 mins just to find someone. Then if you get killed. It was a waste of time. I like the simple maps like we had in MW2, Black Ops 1&2. Those maps wasn't complex and it was fun. Some people may not think that, but I do. I'm just hoping SH brings back those types of maps. Because if they don't then AW will fail just like Ghost. Let's just put it that way.
I agree for the most part about the maps in the last few CoD's.

Too big and too over complicated. Maps like Vacant, Crash, Backlot, District, Chinatown, etc were good maps because they were simple. They didn't have multiple elevation changes, didn't have buildings and windows as far as the eye could see, and they didn't have seemingly endless routes.

I remember reading or hearing something about Sledgehammer wanted to have Advanced Warfare be and do to the CoD series what Call of Duty 4 did to the series back in 2007. I REALLY want that addiction factor to come back. Call of Duty 4 was probably the most addicted I've ever been to an FPS. I loved World at War and Black Ops 1 but there was something about Call of Duty 4 that always made me think "Just one more game before bed" only to play 5 more after thinking that.

If they can get back to basics and not going over the top crazy MP wise, I think we could be in for a real treat. But in all honesty I don't see Advanced Warfare being the new Call of Duty 4, nor do I ever see a CoD game capturing the glory that Call of Duty 4 had.

Although I'm not a fan of the futuristic warfare genre, if it's the sort of game you can't put down like COD4 and MW2 were for me then I'd be extremely happy! But I do agree with you it's highly doubtful, each game seems to lose more and more of that 'addictive' factor. I don't mind Ghosts but I can't seem to play it for more than an hour or two. I miss the classic style maps like everyone else seems too!

I just hope AW runs well online. I'll ignore a lot of problems if the game runs well. If its always laggy like all the recent CoD's, I don't care what the rest of the game is like.

I found myself missing the last Cod less and less as they release new games. I Cod4, WAW, MW2, and Bops a ton. I miss MW3 a little bit, BO2 a little bit less, and I don't think I'll find myself missing Ghosts that much when the next one comes out. I'll probably get Advanced Warfare, but I, like everyone else, hope they can at least get back to making fun and interesting maps again

I've only owned COD (the first one), MW2 and MW3. The first MW was great, but I got my PS3 late in the game and it didn't feature trophies or rumble support. I haven't owned any others, and haven't really felt an urge to.

If I get a PS4, this game will be on my radar. Not too enthused with the new direction though, as I said earlier. I just think it gets too overwhelming for me and I won't be able to properly compete online.

Facial details in cut scenes look great. Rest of the game looks aight. As long as it stays at 60 FPS, it will always look okay enough for me.

Just wondering if I will dig the new style or not for MP. This is a completely different ballgame for COD, no longer "same ol' same ol'" that takes away one excuse.

Well starting this Monday. We will get out first look at COD AW MP game play. We will be getting plenty of game play this week from Gamescon in Germany. So this give us a good idea how good or bad MP will be this year. I hope it is good. If not then another year of waiting for Treyarch Black ops3.

I skipped Ghosts, but I am interested what direction they go with the MP.

Looking forward to the new info.

I hope it's good. The 1st Black Ops was probably the last great CoD game with Black Ops 2 being OK but underwhelming. If the weapon damage is as high as Ghosts I'm staying away.

Yeah my friends and I have gone back to Black Ops these last few weekends. I love maps in that game so much. I also missed by Galil.

I haven't been excited for a CoD in years.. but man, I'm excited for Monday. I've just got that feeling it will be looking good. I mean, it's impossible for this game to be worse than Ghosts. Nothing can be worse than Ghosts. It's crazy because I'm usually the one to bash on CoD, but I'm sitting here counting down the days to the MP reveal. From seeing the snippet of gameplay at the end of the story trailer, I think the game will play a lot like Black Ops 2, which isn't really a bad thing.
