    Re: Bloodborne

Slayed the Cleric Beast after a few tries. Pretty rough until I figured out to chuck molotovs at him.

Made it to the Father. Now THAT is a rugged boss fight. I need to farm some echoes and level up a few times before downing him I'm thinking.

Yesterday was great, beat papa G and blood starved critter, tons of exploring and echo farming. This game is easily in my top 10 all time, no question.

I am still messing around in Old Yarnham, I get the feeling I have missed a shortcut somewhere, no idea where to next. :P

There's no better feeling than returning to Central Yarnham and slaughtering enemies that gave me fits earlier in the game.

I am going to do that, as I need to farm 10k echoes for something I need to buy to proceed. I am going to tear through central yarnham, just love the atmosphere there so much.

They really needed to better differentiate NPCs
            Spoiler

With that said, I think I am just going to be done. I'm just not really having fun with the game like I did Souls games and the thought of restarting, even though I haven't even made it to the first boss, doesn't thrill me.

You lose the insight, also traveling back to the Nexus will lose the Bell icon in the top left of the screen and you will need to burn another insight. If you play with randoms you only have to ring the bell, if you want to play CoOp with a friend you both need to put the same password in the Network Settings in the options screen.

You will need to be within 10% of the summoners rank.

Damn, y'all are blood thirsty, lol. I didn't have a problem of identifying the NPC as non-hostile since I couldn't target them initially. Also, I tend to creep up on people facing away from me for the easy visceral.

When approaching a character that you are not sure if a friend or foe, click your R3 button that would lock onto an enemy, if you lock on, your can strike it, If you are close enough and click and it doesn't lock on, then it is a friendly.

In past Souls games you were able to use souls to reverse the angry NPCs (repent your sins), probably will be an option later on in the game.

Central Yarnham is scary place. Swing first, ask questions last.

Thanks for the R3 tip guys. I should have know better since he didn't start swinging on me as I approached.

If you ring the small resonant bell, it coat no insight and you get one from beating the area boss. It a good way to farm insight if your down.

I'm doing it right now with Father Gascoigne. Just helping people beat him.

Also for whatever reason, I'm not getting any potion drops anymore. I've probably cleared whole areas from lantern to lantern and have not picked up a single vial. This game is ****ed up man lol. Only thing I could do is grind souls I guess and buy vials, but that wouldn't last very long.
