Not making anywhere near as much progress as I thought I would. Been playing for an hour, made it to the bridge with the wolves. After a long battle I died. Waaay back to the lantern by the ladder. It may be because I picked the waste of skin class, but struggling so far.



Is there another lantern I'm missing that's closer?

No but there's a shortcut. You don't need to fight the wolves.

Ah, I found it... After I beat the wolves. Now it looks like I have 3 ways I could go. I don't really see how you can skip that part unless you make a run for it.

Have you found the first NPC you can talk to? It's by the brick holding ogre smashing the gate. There's a path just to the left of the NPC leading to the shortcut and stairs coming up behind the wolves.

Im not sure... Everyone door I knocked on they turned me away. I thought I found everything in that area, guess I'll have to go back and check later. Workin on first boss now.

I found someone looking for a good hiding spot that I could interact with but I'm pretty sure that's not who you're talking about.

nah that's the second npc. He's just after the first npc when you jump down from the ledge. There's a bunch of crates blocking the ledge

I can't find either of these NPCs you are talking about, I must be confused

Camp, I felt that way at first but now that I've leveled up a little (just lvl 21, but still) and upgrades weapon a couple times imfeeling a lot more like a hunter than prey.

About 8 hours into the game, loving it more and more. I'm trying to explore as much as possible but I seem to still be missing things. Probably right in front of me but I'm just blind

I am in need of some serious help. I can't get past the very first enemy in the game and I've been playing for thirty minutes. I must have died 15 times and I'm wondering what the hell I just spent my money on.

This game was made by a bunch of sadists specifically for a bunch of masochists.

I have to be missing something.

Is there some hidden weapon or something? It's been 45 minutes and I can't beat something that kills me in two hits with just fists apparently. No tutorial. No instruction manual. People aren't kidding when they say the game is hard.

I guess this game just isn't for me.

Use google like a nookie blanky as you are getting acclimated to the game style.
And yes, you are missing something.....your weapons!!! They are someplace that you have already been to if you've died.

Once I figured out I needed my weapons I started moving along. I died probably 12-15 times in the first encounter as well but once I figured that part out the slaughter began.

Sony has a HUGE hit with this game!! Not your typical hack & slash game. You must think things through

After nearly four hours of playing all I can say is that was without a doubt the most humbling gaming experience I can remember.

Wow. It took an hour on the first enemy for me to realize I had to leave where I was to pick up weapons to go back and fight him. And that was only because you told me.

Very odd choice. Starting to get the hang of it, though.

Beat Cleric Beast finally on my fourth try. Took an hour break , came back and beat him on my first try. Good stopping point for today I spose.

LOL totally didnt see him til just now. I was scouring the level trying to find this mystery NPC, so if it's not I have no idea.
