I just dodged like a madman during that boss. Eventually figured out his moves. I just started trying to parry on the second boss now, and it's not working out as well as I'd hoped. I tried it a couple times on regular enemies and it worked like a charm though. Alot like the riposte from the previous games.

Re: Bloodborne
Did some backtracking and went back to the garden area to level up my VIT and END. Also had some shards to reinforce my axe a bit.
Sure the enemies respawn when doing this but it's nice to have a little more power and health.Comment

Re: Bloodborne
OK I explored the first area so long on my last attempt. I still have no idea where to go. I was sitting on a cap load of blood also.
I f poo in a new area that had a bit of new enemies in it but still took them out. There was a lower part with rats but I don't even try to go there. I also opened a lever that's on the other side of that bridge and found another area that had a bright orange window above it.
Every path I take I manage to get back to the bridge with those wolf things and get wrecked. So much blood gone.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

SpoilerYou ought to be able to work your way around and skip the two wolves on the bridge since there is a lot of connection on the bridge. Worse comes to worse, try running past the wolves, take the first set of stairs to your left, and run into the house. Hopefully the wolves will leash back and you'll only have to deal with the four people inside the house (2 top floor, 2 bottom floor). From there is a door that leads back to a shortcut connected to the lantern t the top of the ladder.Comment

Re: Bloodborne
I'm not sure what is considered a spoiler in these games, the style is unique. I was going to talk about a weapon I found but wasn't sure if that would be considered a spoiler or not.
Anytime I talk about an area or any details regarding exploration/items should I use spoiler tag?"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Bloodborne
There is a certain amount of mystique around discovering mechanics, lore, and even exploration for people with this game. Makes it kind of hard to be spoiler proof for everyone. NeoGAF has its own separate spoiler thread.Comment

I already went through the building and made my way around, I just got turned around. Lol. I did unlock the short cut by the lantern now.Last edited by Candyman5; 03-25-2015, 01:09 PM.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Bloodborne
No worry man about judging me, when games have customization, I tend to try to make different characters male or female. I'll be making others. Not to derail this thread with 3 picts, but these were my attempts at Madea, Big Boss Man, & a terrorist in Home on PS3. Ill post others in BB to see what else can be made.NBA Live is the epitome of Cancel Culture..

Re: Bloodborne
What weapons did you guys choose to start out with? I went with the buzz saw and the pistol. Still trying to get to the first boss but taking my time.

Re: Bloodborne
I started out with the cane. It sucked so I started over with the axe and I've been doing pretty well. Took the pistol too.Comment

It's right when they start the attack. Some enemies go through their attacks quick so you will have to predict their movements. Others wind up slow and are predictable.
Also, on your previous post about insight. They are plentiful with multiple ways to get them. You get one for meeting a boss for the first time, successfully invading someone, successfully help someone kill a boss, and using items such as containing insight.
