Played online for the first time this afternoon with four other randoms. At first only me and one other guy had a mic, and as we started talking three other guys plugged in their mics and we had full communication going on. Five random people working together like they knew each other. Most fun I've had in an online game in a long while!

I don't know if the ranking system is messed up, but my buddy and I play together almost all of the time. I may have played 10 matches at most without him. I struggle to rank up and he doesn't despite us playing together, so our results are the same for the most part. Well, last night I started the night as a Silver IV and he began the night as a Gold I. We played practically the whole day yesterday and we were winning games left and right. We were in the middle of something like a 7 or 8 game winning streak and he ranks up to Gold II while I was deranked down to Silver II....

I ended the night as a Silver III and he stayed a Gold II, but I honestly don't have any idea what is going on with my ranking. I went from Silver IV to Silver III one match after I finished 11-0 and we won 4-0 and that was after a span of 3 games where I went 8-0, 6-2, and then the 11-0 and that caused me to derank. All 3 matches were wins. I don't get it.

Is anyone else seeing strange things with the ranking system?

How do you even know what your rank is? There's no leaderboards or anything like that. Rank doesn't matter too much it seems.

How do you even know what your rank is? There's no leaderboards or anything like that. Rank doesn't matter too much it seems.

It tells you after each match and I believe matchmaking is based off ranks.

This game is really getting better as more randoms are understanding you have to work as a team. Not sure how I feel about being able to communicate after being killed though. Interesting take on no respawn shooters.

For those in the PS4 crew, thought I was picking this up this weekend, but wife said she got it for me for Xmas. I'll be on around that time, maybe I'll get lucky and Santa will let me have my present early.

I haven't played a FPS this much since probably Modern Warfare.

Great tactical game that has just been buttery smooth so far.

I find myself keep going back to this game. Play some other game for a bit, then right back to RS6, addictive. Loving it so far. I have not even tried teaming up on mics yet, just been trying to grind out some renown to unlock more operatives. With the Division and Wildlands coming out in the future, TC games are back!!
