        If they get the server issues and hit detection ironed out, most definitely.

        EDIT to avoid cluttering the thread. I played one match after that 12 minute wait and then had a server error disconnect me while the next match was starting up.....

            Most definitely from my experience but as I'm sure you've read, there's some who have dealt with some near game breaking server issues

                Server issues like BF4 launch? That's perhaps the worst I've ever seen. Fortunately though, DICE was thoroughly committed and it's perhaps the best shooter of all time...at least that I've ever played.

                Are the devs as committed as DICE have been?

                    I never really had issues with BF4''s launch, so I can't comment. I guess the law of averages is coming around with this one though. The devs seem committed. I just hope this first patch is not a sign of things to come because it's ultimately made the game much worse than it had been for me.

                        I'll hold off for a bit then...thanks guys.

                        It has a feel of S&D from the MW2 and Black Ops days but with much more tactics and gadgets. I'll keep my eye on it.

                            Good call. I went from loving this game to not enjoying it one second tonight. Didn't realize I was buying the Madden of shooters and a patch would destroy the game.

                            I'll give it a try tomorrow after work, but if the servers continue to be trash I'll just give up on it for a little bit. The game was fine before the patch.

                                    Damn what the hell, I rented this last night and played fine then and this afternoon. I returned it and decided to buy it. Can't even get into a game ever since I bought it.

                                                    On xbox1 and I haven't had any issues. Get in games fast and no lag. Maybe a PS4 thing?

                                                            As far as tacticts and the balance in the game, it does seem close. I think they need to reduce the headshot multiplier and riot shield people from the multiple videos I've seen.

                                                            I want to get it but I don't want to get disconnected continually, be in the waiting screen forever or even have it freeze my PS4.

                                                            We'll see how patch #2 fixes things.
