Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Yea, not understanding the ranking system. Can't get above Silver 4 no matter how many games I win and how well I do. I find it more funny than anything. Played with some guy today for about 10 or so games and we both started at levels 52 and 53. Both silver 4. After those matches he finished gold 1, I was silver 3. Don't exactly know what I'm doing to derank haha. I increased my WL to 2.2 and my KD to 2.1, so I'm not playing terrible or anything. I just don't rank up like other people apparently.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
The guy I normally play with wasn't on yesterday, so I just ended up making friends with whoever had a mic and was talkative, after an hour or so we had a full squad of guys put together. One guy had an inconsistent connection, so he disconnected a few times resulting in temporary bans on ranked.
So we went into casual and were basically trolling people until the ban was lifted. I kind of felt bad, but not too much. As attackers we would all go with shields and charge together, so there was an army of 4 with shields coming in the front of rooms and I'd sneak around their backside and it was too easy playing like that. As defenders we would all get the deployable shields and make a circle in the room with the objective with the shields and have a turret in the middle of it. Then we'd reinforce all of the walls behind it and use jammers and electricity to make them impossible to breach.
If you guys want to add me, I usually play with others whenever my main few aren't on. My PSN is SnickerLicker21. I'm the guy that likes to sit on the 2nd floor of a building when the objective is in the basement so I can just come from behind and get easy kills. It generally works out pretty well with the light armour guys as they are nearly silent when moving.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Gotta say, for the first time since the early days of the 360, I'm plugging my mic in for every game I play online. It's to the point that even when I party up and there's 3 or 4 of us on, we'll switch party chat to game chat for the night so the randoms we play with can hopefully communicate with us.
I've added quite a few people since release to my friends list simply because I'd play a Casual match with some buddies and the randoms turn out to be good people. The maturity level, generally speaking, of the people that play this game is eye opening.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
- Auto-kick for team killing, we knew that was coming.
- limited HUD and standard they mentioned was being added
- reducing the defenders outside tick timer, obviously was a simply change. Personally I don't even see why they have a time limit to begin with, if they are outside it should be known since their objective never has anything to do with being outside.
- Increased chat box size
- Improved Glaz scope
Other than the hit detection fixes, everything else seems like really easy changes. Granted my only big bitch at the moment is the hit detection so I'm extremely pleased they are addressing this as fast as they are!!
My top changes.- Fix Hit Detection
- Add more interesting operators (I'll list some below)
- Adjust Shield operators slightly, to easy to kill even directly facing shield(more tucked in behind shield)
- Remove fore-grip for every weapon, at 50 points and no negative impact there is ZERO reason its not on every one of your guns. This should be either 1) cost more 2) limited to weaker skill operators to give weapon improvement AKA Doc or IQ.
- Adjust Kapkan traps to be far less noticeable. As of now he is pointless unless you are going against brand new rookies. Other wise his special ability is a waste.
Operator special ideas (saw these on reddit)
1) I saw one mentioned for the attackers. A sound device can be thrown into the defenders room, emitting an extremely high pitch sound which will deafen and prevent the defenders from hearing. This would cause confusing during breaches and entries into rooms. Countered by the device being shot and destroyed.
2) Another one was similar to Fuze or allow Fuze to take a different "device". He plants a device which launches in several flash bang like devices. Non-lethal version of Fuze, but could be just as effective in different situations (bigger rooms).
3) Playback - He carries a pistol similar to Docs stim pistol but when he shoots a camera, the camera is then placed into an endless loop. So defenders can view the camera but will see an endless feed of "all is well" on the camera. Thus allowing attacking team to hit from sides the defenders "believe" no one is there
4) Sun - Has a tactical flash light on his rifle, which will blind enemy when directly pointed at. Similar to Battlefield 3 flash light.
5) Pixel - Defender which can launch 3 stickie cameras (aka similar to Splinter Cell)Last edited by Phobia; 12-15-2015, 06:05 PM.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
This has been the biggest issue with the game by far and it's not even close. Just the server issues in general. I've sat on the screens for 15-20 minutes at a time on occasion. Unacceptable in a 5v5 environment. COD 2 back in 2005 ran just fine...how in 2015 this is still a thing is beyond me.
Outside of that it's a great, unique game with a solid first patch. But the server issues are a downer.
