I feel like I run into a new glitch every match. Not being able to plant the bomb is a pretty significant one.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
The hit detection is still as wonky as ever. I'm noticing that more and more of my friends have stopped playing. They really need to bump up the dlc schedule and keep the patches coming. The game didn't ship with much content in the first place. I have nothing to spend renown on except the same weapon skins from when the game first released. The only thing that brings me back to the game is the fun factor of having a mic'd up squad. Sadly its getting tougher to form up a team as people give up on the game.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I had some crazy weirdness yesterday. My game would freeze, and while frozen, I was being shot at, after the 3rd freeze, my game unfroze and my player was dead.
Next game I put a deployable shield in front of a boarded window to block it, and my shield went through the boarded window, so I figured it was outside , actually on the other side of the window. I sat by the window crouched, but nope, I was shot and killed through the boards. The shield just spawned into oblivion.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
One thing that my group figured out on xbox one is that if you change from terrorist hunt to multiplayer or the store to multiplayer you need to restart the game. This has become routine for us.
We were were also having issues after adding people to our party and this fixed the long load times. We also found that we could improve our load times even better if we had a full group of 5 compared to 3 or 4.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Played a good 4-5 hours of this last night, both with a full squad of 5 and as few as 3 for Ranked. Admittedly it was quicker to find a match with 5 but aside from some 3-4 minute wait times with 3 or 4 guys, we had no issues when the matches actually started. There was one weird thing that happened where I was reinforcing a wall and when I finished, it put me on the other side. But other than that, it was pretty smooth most of the night.
I'm actually finding Casual games to be harder to get into and stay in than Ranked. I've been booted from a Casual game at least once a night for inactivity while being hung up on the smoke screen. But Ranked has been fine.
On another note, here's the patch out today for PC and consoles tomorrow:

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Oh yea, another glitch that happened last night was the enemy team tried breaching our reinforced wall with thermite last night, but the explosion only took out the metal. The regular wall remained intact and was bulletproof as if the wall was still reinforced. It made them unable to breach our room so we got a free win.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Also weird I read they limited the PC version of the game to be fair. How is saving up to buy a top-end rig then being limited by the developer fair? Just so console ppl don't complain? Bollux.TB Lightning | Liverpool | Panathinaikos | Toronto FC

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Last night match making was very quick and we always were matched up against pretty even teams. Nothing drastic like before where we would face all bronzes as a squad of silver and golds.
The game felt stable, nothing bad ever appeared. No bugs or glitches. That's nothing new though. We always had some good nights. It needs to be consistently a smooth experience night in and night out, not one out of every 3 nights.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Great question. The article states March 2nd, other articles have said the 8th. I'd actually be surprised if it came out today as every other patch for consoles has been a week after the PC patch. Also, if you read the actual web address of the link I posted, it says March 1st for PC and March 8th for consoles.
Long story short, I have no clue lol.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
But UbiSoft seems to be a little slow with getting this game to a consistent playable state. I'm trying to remember that my other favourite FPS of all time, Battlefield 4, took over 6 months to make playable and over a year to make the amazing game it is today. But that game had an audience that could sustain it during its early days that this game can only dream of. I fear the community will drop off beyond repair if R6:S isn't brought up to snuff soon.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I had a great session with a friend last night, but connection issues are still present. It was taking us about 2-3 minutes to find a game. After our last round, we couldn't connect to anything for 20 minutes. We finally said **** it and called it quits for the night. It was a shame too, because we were killing it in ranked.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
After the patch yesterday I can say that this game was a blast to play. Hit detection seemed to really improve at least on my end yesterday/last night. Every shot seemed to register for me or my opponent. And matchmaking seemed to be a lot better. Ranked or casual we got games quick. For casual as fast as 20 seconds from starting and ranked no longer then 2 mins.PSN:LeftCoastGamer
