Couldn't agree more and sadly, its crept into Ranked play. This afternoon I was TK'ed by a guy because I took Buck. This happens alot in Casual, frustratingly enough, but to see it happen in Ranked play drove me crazy. Are we really that petty that because I took one of the new Operators you're gonna kill your own teammate? Pathetic.

Luckily I was playing with two other buddies so we swiftly voted him and his team-killing buddy out...but then proceeded to lose swiftly as well, since we were 3 on 5. It's a double-edged sword...I want the community to grow so this game is supported for a long time but as the community grows, more and more idiots play.

Edit: justtttt hopped back in a game just now and was TK'ed by a guy for no apparent reason. I don't know anymore. If this doesn't get changed, it'll push me away from the game. I can deal with netcode and matchmaking and all the other bugs that go on in the game but this is getting a bit too frustrating for me.

Yeah it's the intentional team killing that's gotten really bad. I don't mind if it's an accident or when someone hit's you trying to kill an enemy that'll always happen at some point. Today I was picking up armor & my team mate just blatantly shoot's me. Unbelievable.

Been seeing a lot of this lately... The worst part... I've played on so many teams like this & teams where 3/5 players leave the game leaving us 2 on 5 & now I'm ranked copper I... I went from Silver II to Copper I cause of trash teammates leaving us undermanned & constantly losing.

Just played maybe 5 matches. The first 3 were pretty good. Didn't have many issues. Had a few rubber banding issues, but not bad. The last two matches were BAD. I shot an entire magazine into Kapkan, I was Thermite, and had the entire wall behind the guy blood red, yet he had 3/4 health when he turned and shot me back and killed me instantly. My first 3 shots were into his head since I had the jump on his.

That instance sums up the last two matches I played. I just wish this alpha would enter the beta stage already.

Houston we have a problem. This was complete bs as I hit him directly in the head & he survives. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/V4PzCUJ-0WE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I had a guy shoot me while I was barracading a door, I dropped to the floor needing to be revived and he shoots me. When the next match starts I run away and the guy runs as well, so I wait until he thinks he's safe and I shoot him while he is walking towards me. He later messages me and says he killed me on accident. That was the first time I retaliated on a team killer and it felt good.

Similar story for me, I was reinforcing a wall in a separate room altogether and the guy pulled out his pistol, lined up a headshot and dropped me.

I've only TK'ed once and it was like yourself... Just felt so good lol.

Bigger issue is that they need to figure something out to curb all of it. Right now, the way the scoring structure is set up, the victim of TK is the only one that truly suffers. Yes you lose 100 points but points don't show up when you bring a guy's stats up... Only his W/L and K/D. In fact, it's the victim who's stats end up worse as a result of TK. Either disable friendly fire in Casual or make your Rank based on points in a match, not W/L or K/D.

                  Re: Rainbow Six Siege

It was such a coincidence; I was about to state that I've been team killed once or twice in my time playing, but then literally my next three casual matches team killed three times in a row. Damn, it seems like the games popularity has brought in some players that team kill for sport. Hopefully they add ricochet to casual and have some type of way of weeding out the team killers eventually on ranked (fingers crossed I have yet to get team killed on ranked).

Still I keep going back, because when you get a good connection, a lobby full of like minded players, and some type of verbal/non verbal communication this game is dare I say one of the best shooters on console.

I'm aware PC has a variety of shooters like this so I didn't want to assume it's one of the best on PC as well.

Finally found this game for a reasonable price and picked it up. I have to say, the single player aspect, though lacking hard, the missions they send you on are amazing. Terrorist hunt is great. Multiplayer, so far I've only had strange connections ... going to keep going at it to hopefully get into a few smooth games.

At least if you're on the Xbox One or PS4 make sure to turn of V-Sync for better framerate in Terrorist Hunt.

                        Re: Rainbow Six Siege

I finally ventured into the online multiplayer-scape and I can't say I had a positive experience. Honestly the game is fun and I'm enjoying certain aspects of it, but the team killing is absurd. I was TK'd on more than 50% of the matches I played. This makes the game quite literally unplayable because you can't trust anyone.

I managed to get on a proper team for two matches in a row and the game was a blast, but considering the frequency with which I was TK'd, I imagine there are no consequences for doing it. I'm very surprised the developers didn't see this as a potential issue. It wasn't all little kids, either. There was at least one guy older (likely late 20s or 30s) who TK'd our entire team.

Not only that, but playing terrorist hunt and a number of times we'd get to the final stage only to have one guy on the team kill the asset we were supposed to be protecting. I really think Ubi needs to implement a non-hardcore mode that limits damage to AI only, wherein you can't damage teammates or assets.

I imagine playing with a squad full of non-randoms is a great experience, unfortunately I have no idea where I'm supposed to find 4 other people to play with consistently. In the mean time I'll keep trying to play, but if this how the experience is going to go, I might just be trading the game back in for something less toxic.

This is a console option? I used to PC game and that was done on PC games, wasn't aware this was even an option for a console game. Where is this done at in the game?
