Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I will add you tonight and we can play some. I can't promise you I'll be available to play every time I'm on playing Siege as I've also got a regular group of guys I play with. But we should be able to play a couple of times a week so you get the proper Siege experience more often. It's like no other shooter out there.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Thanks for the tip. I'm on PC, and in solo play it runs smooth as butter on full. It was definitely the online experience that wasnt the smoothest.TB Lightning | Liverpool | Panathinaikos | Toronto FC

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I'm really hoping in one of the updates they change the importance of the points. Right now, when you click on a PSN ID or GT you see a player's K/D, his W/L and his Rank Emblem. In a game though, your placing in a match is determined by the points you get in the match.
I think they need to take this a step further and make the Points Per Game as the primary determining factor of your rank and get rid of W/L entirely. W/L tells me nothing. When I see a guy with a 2+ W/L but a K/D below 1, all it tells me is he probably rides his teammates' coattails. But if that player's ppg is decent, it's a guy that plays the objective and either isn't as good at shooting or someone who takes one for the team often so to speak.
It would also curtail the team killing because of the hit to your points you take. I think a rebalancing of the points would help too (say more for actually achieving the objective, -500 for a team kill etc) but I'd love to see points matter more and W/L not even displayed.

Had a bit better luck earlier with teams. Only got team-killed once; perhaps last night was just extra bad luck with people. Of course I took my vengeance on this one particular TK'er today with some nitro - though it was technically accidental.
I laid it down as a trap for the enemies. He just so happened to wander into its blast radius as I set off the charge. Oops. :wink:Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I was playing this last Friday and got really drunk, some OSers and I were doing a bomb defuse mission and I have no idea what I did but I ran into this area and my team was screaming "Catch22 - WHAT ARE YOU DOING??" and then BOOM! bomb went off and killed me and I think maybe another teammate or so.
I was like real sheepish going "oh sorry fellas"...LOLStreaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Just played two matches and they were terrible. First match was against a guy that had walls and didn't even hide it. That was fun. I think he finished 17-2.
Second match was like that video posted earlier with an entire magazine into Ash. I shot an entire magazine into some guy in front of me that I snuck up behind who planting a charge, so he wasn't moving and I was 15 feet behind, and he took my entire magazine, I started to reload when he finished planting the charge and turned and hit me down to 25% before I could get around the corner. I'm 99% every single round got a hit marker on the full MP7 magazine, but the guy was fine like nothing happened.
Then I got behind Ash and did the same exact thing to her, but she wasn't planting a charge, she was peaking the other way and it was a hit marker for every single bullet in the magazine and all it resulted in was her turning around, hitting me once, then going down.
Had to call it quits after that. I've never seen it be that bad before.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNTIL UBISOFT FIXES IT.

I could've bought the gold edition at my local Target for $40 Saturday and didn't know it.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I don't mind terrorist hunt every now and then, but I definitely enjoy competitive much more when it actually works. The only problem is getting it to work consistently. I can have nights where all 4 or 5 matches are AAA quality, then I can have nights like last night where I don't even understand what's going on. It's like two entirely different games.
I just can't get over the fact that both Ash and Fuse took entire MP7 mags and it only resulted in 1 downing and 0 kills until I switched to a pistol to finish Ash. I'd only seen that in videos before. Last night was my first time witnessing that firsthand and it made it an easy decision to find something else to play before bed.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I've just about had it with the game as the deliberate team killing is way out of hand. Happened again in my first round of the day. I want friendly fire off at least in casual or I'll be putting the game away for good. I'm all for realism but not when this keeps happening routinely."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Friendly fire should've been off in Casual from the beginning IMO and team killing in ranked should carry a penalty system that does temporary bans like quitting early does.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
