Yeah, I try not to think about that night. It still haunts me. Worst I have ever played ever.

Had to stop treating the game like it was Battlefield where your life isn't as valuable. Also helps teaming up with people who talk and make good call outs. Super crucial in this game.

Wish you could view trending stats on the R6 website. I started off this game getting trashed because I didn't know maps and made the mistake of jumping right to ranked at Level 20. Set me back a bit. KD is sitting at around 1 and Win/Loss is still at 1.2.

Have a KD of 1.3 with Fuze as well as Capitao. Probably a much better gauge of where I am now.

In addition, kind of upset that the Tactical Realism mode isn't a new lobby type and is only a custom game mode. Wish they made it apart of Ranked.

Yeah you're definitely getting better as your understanding of the game grows. Knowledge in this game is crucial. It's unfortunate but I think alot of people would be turned off by the super steep learning curve associated with this game now. For Day One'ers like myself, we kinda learned with everyone else and you'd see one or two things a night to learn from and that'd be it.

Someone jumping in now is so far behind it wouldn't surprise me if on the free weekend a couple of weeks back, the retention rate of players that tried the game to players that ended up buying it was in the low single digit percentile.

I love the **** out of this game though. Playing with guys like JODYE and Pap along with some of my other regular buddies makes this game alot more fun than any game deserves to be lol.

Me and my buddies online like to play all recruits with our 5 stack until we lose a round. It's funny seeing how worked up some guys get getting 4-0'd by recruits.

We did a strategy yesterday on Oregon that still has me laughing. We all went with the recruits that had the LMG and they had the secure in the upstairs. We all positioned ourselves at different windows upstairs, counted to 3, then shot all of our ammo through the windows. We didn't get any kills, but we hit most of them and I know probably scared them haha. There was a lot of blood on the walls and killing them from that point was pretty easy. The funny thing with that one was we had a 4 stack and the stranger with us bought into it all. The LMG firing squad is one I think we'll use again and again because of how funny it was. I can only imagine being inside those rooms and hearing 5 guys shoot for so long from so many different directions.

We also like to use the recruit that gets 3 barbed wire on defense and make it look like a terrorist hunt coming towards the objective. It's actually really effective. I almost wish that instead of specific operators we just got a pool of points and could spend like 1 point on barbed wire versus 4 points for Pulse's sensor. It'd be neat to have a setup like that so you could really have some unique strategies.

Don't try and play with 3 strangers. It will be terrible every time. Me and my buddy just tried two matches like that and both times we get a team that can't breach together or hold a defense at all which leads to us rotating and getting jumped or trying to breach 2v5.

Sometimes the voting system really irritates me. Just got voted out for absolutely no reason whatsoever. My team was trash, so I'm not sure what the problem was. Argh.

I can't resist the temptation to play most times but this is why this game really is great with a full squad of friends. I jump in solo often so I feel your pain but this game is almost screaming to never be played with randoms.

Nothing too special, but at this point we were tied 1-1 and I myself was 1-1-1. Got a near ace (4 bang with one of their guys TK'ed). Right at the beginning of the video you'll see why I'm not a fan of Castle. I normally like to roam the garage a bit on this map but our Castle put up two Castle doors on the only ways out.

So I was stuck in the room and shortly after noticed our Pulse was too. I think if you take Pulse you have to roam, simple as that. Two oet peeves very quickly into the match.

Anyway, I end up getting the 4 bang, we go up 2-1, I get a 3 bang on offense next round and it's pretty much game set and match. We had a good night and we did not lose all night in 6 matches.

I'll be on most of the night tn if anyone wants to play.

I forgot to turn my recording on the other night, but my buddy got a kill with a breaching charge on Consulate which was neat. You hardly ever see those. It ended up being a Pulse that was about to shoot him through the wall he was breaching which was funny. It's just such a rare thing to happen that we couldn't really believe it at first and were just laughing about it. Then it got weird as in the same exact round I put a breaching charge on the floor(not a hatch, but the actual floor) to shoot through the gaps and when I set my charge off I got two kills with my breaching charge. We ended up taking the round pretty easily, but I don't know what the odds are of getting 3 breaching charge kills in 1 round is.

Does anyone else hear feel like Favelas is an absolutely terrible map. I would gladly play the Presidential Plane 100x in a row before every playing Favelas again.

Couldn't agree more. People falling all over themselves both on YouTube as well pretty much anyone I played the map with going on about how great it is. It is the Siege equivalent of Nuketown in COD. Tactics tend to mean very little on Favela. And I can't stand Plane, but like you, would pick it every time over Favela.

I don't care for Favelas at all. Unlike other maps in just devolves into a cluster **** every round. Allowing almost every wall to be destructible doesn't work with this game.

Actually, the first few times I played it were during a solo terrorist hunt, and in that way, it is quite good imo. Online? Pretty terrible, I'd have to agree.

I just don't get Favela. I like the location, but the map design is funky. Every damn time I spawn as attacker, you know some fool is gonna be going up those stairs in order to break out the window and shoot you from behind.

The map is aesthetically pleasing to me, but that's where the positives end. This isn't meant as a knock on Call of Duty, but it feels like it's a better map for a Call of Duty game(or at least what I last played in 2011 or 2012) than a Rainbow Six map. It just doesn't have that great of functionality for this style of game.

Lol Blackbeard is my boy! Sometimes I just lose focus when we go on our marathon gaming sessions so having a bullet hit that shield snaps me back to attention
