I swear Blackbeard's shield is more effective that Montagne's.

Have any of you tried that Tactical Realism mode? I just heard about it last night, sounds up my alley.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Yes it is real. Game mode has made it have a completely different feel. We try to run 5v5 on the weekends just constantly switching teams around. And I love this game still it's my go to always.PSN:LeftCoastGamer

There is talk Ubi is just testing it out, a beta so to speak, and they'll eventually release it as a game mode.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Favelas is just a turd of a map. There needs to be less nitro cells on defense. You would be crazy to pick Montainge or Blitz over Blackbeard. The Shields need the ability to either block explosions in front of their Shields or reduce how many characters have access to nitro cells.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I tried Tactical Realism out last night, and by try I mean 1v1 with a friend, but still, it was sooooo much fun. I love having no hit markers, no spotting, no crosshair, actual magazine management, and no confirmation that you got a kill. Obviously in 1v1 we knew when we got the kill, but watching some videos of it and seeing guys getting into firefights and then cautiously entering a room to find the dead body is awesome to me.
I really really hope Ubisoft goes with this as a ranked game mode. I know there are some fears that it could split the player base, but I wonder how much it really would.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
We played some 3v3 as a small group in Tactical Realism and it really is a blast. I wish our other buddies had gotten on for at least 4v4, but even with 6 guys it's a lot of fun. There were plenty of instances where as both attackers and defenders we got into firefights and never knew if we killed or even just downed the enemy.
It adds even more thrill to every situation and truly makes it as intense as any other shooter of similar style. There was one round of hostage that I took the hostage from the master bedroom in the house and hid in the closet instead of jumping out of the window. A buddy on the opposing team ran outside looking for me. It was just a neat scenario. I unfortunately had awful aim and got behind him, but failed to kill him and lost the round, but it seems like this mode introduces so many more types of encounters because of all of the uncertainty added.
It is more of what I want the game to be like. I understand plenty of people will not like the mode, but I personally would play it as a ranked mode over the current mode every time if I could.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I tried to run Tactical Realism tonight, but they kept kicking us out of the games. Maybe next time.Comment

Anyone know if they plan on letting us see people's stats online again? I've been getting some horrendous teammates lately.Comment
