Yeah I'm fine with giving them more for additional content. They deserve it but it should be for additional content. Hard mode and map features should be free to anyone who bought the game. Don't forget there is already a bunch of stuff locked behind amiibos. Nintendo is pretty much double dipping now dlc wise.

That would be nice. I put a horse in the little stable that is next to your house and the horse stays there unless I take it out somewhere else. It would be cool if it was a functioning stable where you could take them in and out though.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch/WiiU)
Except that Zelda games normally only have one difficulty setting. This game is no different, so to me a "hard mode" truly is additional content. It's not something Nintendo left out of the game that is normally there. Rather, it's an additional mode that Nintendo is adding to up the replay value. It would be one thing if Nintendo had released an incomplete game and was charging money for DLC to complete it. But nothing to me feels incomplete about this game as-is. It was a 10/10 for me, and my favorite game ever, already. And the fact that DLC will make it even better (adding a new story and a new dungeon, Cave of Trials, etc.) and I feel like this game was worth the price of the Switch alone.
I don't feel the game is incomplete either. Never said it did. I'm still not on board with people having to pay for a difficulty setting and map tracking though. Those things could easily be free while the other stuff you mentioned was dlc.Comment

Yeah that's kinda what i want. Wish I could park two horses there and just rotate them out and take them as I please.Comment

I bought those hacked Zelda amiibo cards on ebay and got them in the mail today. They all work. I didn't get any of the special armors though. I wonder how long it takes to randomly get all the pieces?

Just started playing....such a pretty game. I know I'll learn a lot over time, but new to me is breaking weapons. I assume I just get used to using whatever I have? Don't get too attached?

Yep, use em and break em. You'll come across more weapons. Don't get attached. Save the higher attack weapons for bosses and such. Use weaker weapons on weaker enemies.Comment

You're going to pick up tons of weapons. As a general rule, don't use your higher level ones unless you need to.Comment

The weapon durability was something I was really down on when I first started playing the game, but as you go on it adds fun and variability to the game. If you had weapons that would never break, the game wouldn't stay as fresh. I'm in the post-story part of the game now and I'm always getting really strong weapon drops from sub-bosses so I have a big inventory of strong weapons to use. Early on though, just get used to having weapons break. And as soon as you get the message that your weapon is about to break, throw it at an enemy and pick up a new one.

Have to get that inventory bigger over time too.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
