Nice link, I am going through the old ps3 thread reading people's thoughts from back when everyone first beat the game. I definitely am interested in hearing different things that people got from the game and the ending especially.

The hotel basement is not a part I am looking forward to on grounded. I'm getting pretty close to that point though

Thanks, man. Idk but that guy hit a lot of points on the head. So much emotion, and so many different aspects of this game are received differently through the player.

Hotel basement help:

What I did was scavenge everything first. Next you want to grab the key card, don't do this until you've scavenged all that you want. Also, you need to go right near the generator to avoid triggering the enemies spawns. Once you scavenged, and get the key card, you need to immediately turn and throw a bottle/brick at the enemy who is behind you. Beat him down with your melee. Two more enemies will be coming so grab the brick that's available in the room you should be in. Throw it at the first and melee, shoot if you get overwhelmed.

Once the 4(?) enemies are down, go access the door. You shouldn't skip this part.

Now it's time to go to the generator. Start it up, hurry up the ramp and go left. Put yourself between the wall of the doorway and wait for the two enemies to run down the ramp near the generator. Slightly left you should be able to jump down, go up that ramp once you make the drop. Hook left, and run into the room on the right and avoid the third enemy.

Go to the door and open it. Look back just incase tho. That enemy hits the end of the hall but shouldn't see you. If he does just pray.

Wait... You mean to tell me at one point during the story Joel stands in front of a wall that says "Hope"? And at another point he hides from infected??

Yup, those are some huge spoilers there and one of them is the biggest twist in gaming history.

Playing on grounded has made me like the game even more that I already did, not sure why but it's just happening. I'm hooked. This might be the first game I try to 100%

How are you guys taking these pictures? Whenever I click in the left analog stick it doesn't do anything. Is there something else that I'm supposed to do?

Just got to winter. Watching a playthrough of this game before I played hasn't taken away from the experience at all. Absolutely loving this campaign.

Make sure Photo Mode is on. Hit the options button and you should see it on the menu screen there.
