Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
I can't imagine grounded. Game is awesome but I've really started getting annoyed at how cheap it is. Am I just missing the enemies or do they almost appear out of nowhere. I have no clue how some of you stealth because its like enemies just show up out of nowhere preprogrammed regardless.
That's my only knock on game being my second time through.
Can't wait to get more point on multiplayer if it would ever find more games in search. Sucks being back at square one coming from having a very good load out on ps3.

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
I finished the game on hard last night. Great time, but I doubt I play it on a higher difficulty. That seemed to be a nice sweet spot for me. There were a couple of tricky areas in the game, but everything was manageable when I took my time. However....
SpoilerI was hurting for ammo in the hospital. I can imagine that part of the game being quite difficult on grounded.
Now that I've wrapped that up, I'm ready to check out the Left Behind DLC.Last edited by Pappy Knuckles; 08-04-2014, 06:12 PM.Comment

SpoilerWhen I played on the PS3, I was able to kill a guy, drag him to one of the open doors in the big room by where you first start off, and hide behind the doorway. Guy would see body, come check him out, get killed, I hide again, guy sees bodies, come to check on them, get killed, I hide, guy sees bodies....etc. I had a stack of about a dozen before there weren't any more close enough to see the pile. Wish PS3 could have taken screen shots, it was funny.
Another strategy that works, the guy you kill at first, leave him in the open and put a nail bomb on him. Fun. And if you hide in the room off to the left, you can usually get behind the guys running to the explosion and not deal with so many of those, but it's probably better to kill them for the ammo.Comment

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
I'm 83 percent finished with my grounded playthrough (already over 18 hours spent on it) and I think I need a break. I should probably check out Left Behind and go back to hard and just turn off the HUD and the super sense. I dig the resource scarcity of grounded, wish I could bring that over to other difficulties. I do enjoy the challenge of grounded but after the non-stop zero room for error gameplay I just need a little timeout.
Has anyone beaten it on grounded yet?"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

I beat left behind on grounded.
EDIT: I am slowly attempting to plod through the main story on grounded. I beat it already on PS3, so am in no rush.Last edited by LingeringRegime; 08-04-2014, 09:12 PM.Comment

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
Haha yeah I was like "I'm about to beat this game for second time and I never knew you could do that."
I'm at 97 percent complete, on the very last lap. I'm trying different tactics and struggling. I'll probably have to watch some youtube clips of grounded runs to get some ideas"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."
