Played some Zarya tonight. I really didn't think the nerf was too bad on her. I went like 37-2. Granted it was quickplay so that is always a gamble in quality. I still think her utility is too great to pass up in a lot of situations.
Actually it appears that there was a 'secret' Zarya buff that may actually make her more effective even with the slight bubble nerf. Previously her beam weapon never seemed to start doing damage the instant she locked onto a target. There was a slight delay. Now though that damage starts connecting instantly.
I do like that Sombra's hack is interrupted on hit. It's a very subtle audio cue that can be difficult to pickup so it needs some kind of counter. I do find her a bit underwhelming overall though (despite being very fun to play). I feel like she was really only effective early on in matches, and then once the team knows there is a Sombra to deal with they just start looking out for those audio clues and such. And a Sombra who doesn't have surprise on her side is often a dead Sombra. There have been a few times where her hacks were very clutch, but I would rather face a team with a Sombra than a Tracer. Of course part of this may also just be that people haven't quite figured out how to play her yet. Kind of like Ana when she first came out.
