Re: Overwatch
Nah it's true lol
Here's a pic I saw on FB showing the counters to each character. Not sure if it's super accurate since I'm pretty noob at the game

Re: Overwatch
Yeah, I played two games this morning before work and we killed our opponents. They could barley get out of their spawn point on one map and the other we moved the payload with ease. I have had some really good games with randoms and some very frustrating games.
A little OT, but I can't believe how hard it is to sell my physical copy of the game. Trying to sell for $40.00 and nothing. Guess I will trade in at Best Buy for $38.50 tomorrow.
Again, it could be my fault and I'm not doing enough to help the team with tanking or heals. Just seems odd that literally as soon as I'm grouped up with at least one other person my winning percentage goes way up
Also, a little OT here, but is it normal that hardly anyone on PS4 uses a mic? I feel like on Xbox most people use micsLast edited by The JareBear; 06-03-2016, 02:33 PM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Overwatch
The last three days I've probably lost about 85 percent (give or take) of my games with randoms. Yesterday played a little over two hours straight without a single win before OSers signed on and rescued me. It's working out for you and Boltman but I seem to always be matched/placed on the type of team you guys steamroll in these situations. I try to communicate on the mic that we need different heroes and suggest counters but it's pointless. If we are attacking and getting killed by a multiple Bastion and/or Torbjorn combo, there are just certain heroes we need and don't need in that situation.. I think lack of hero switching is biggest difference between organized groups and all-randoms

I'd say I'm about 80/20 for bad to good games with randoms. The bad groups just seem so much worse because you can tell inside the first 30 seconds if your team is terrible. Then you just have to sit there beating your head against the wall until you are put out of your misery. I understand players at lower level having to learn the game so I didn't really complain when I was getting matched with them. But by level 20 you should know how to play the characters and attack objectives.Comment

Re: Overwatch
Haha i knew that looked familiar but I couldn't place it. Guess its been too long since high school health class. Either that or I've compartmentalized it since it was so close to the images on STD day (where they were trying to scare us into abstinence).Comment

Re: Overwatch
I don't mind Tracer's ult actually. It charges fast which makes up for the lack of total damage. She can't kill Reinhardt with it, but her main targets should be squishy characters anyway. With all of her other abilities a super powered ult would seem a bit much.Comment

Re: Overwatch
Seems most game not a single person will selected a healer ...... So I just use Lucio most games
People seem to wanna play it like its team death match every round

Re: Overwatch
the midget's is annoying because the turret locks on so freaking fast. You literally pop your head around the corner and it already has you locked on. Oh, and as long as there isn't a line of sight issue it can hit you no matter how far away you are. Pretty annoying to deal with on certain maps. Especially when you are dealing with everything else.

The easiest way to help with Bastion would be to make his turret clip size smaller and with the Midget make his turrets not be able to look 360 degrees. This alone would make them a lot manageable.
Also ran Zarya a lot last night and we won most of them. The damage she can dish out with a charged weapon is insane.

Re: Overwatch
Tracers ult is nice because it charges really quick and can wipe out their tank and anyone close to them in a heartbeat if used at the right time (perfect for going in when some of them have already taken some hits, dropping the sticky, recalling out).
Range and speed of target acquisition are the issues with the turret, not the 360 aiming, in my opinion. Most turrets aren't put in the middle of a room anyway, are usually tucked in a corner. The turret has a longer effective range/more accrurste long range than Soldiers rifle. Again this just my opinion. Just going off my observation.
With Bastion I would say look at his rate of fire, optimum range damage wise/accuracy, or the time it takes to transition between turret and standing (not al those things, just one)
From what I've seen it seems like randoms are having more trouble dealing with Reinhardt than bastion/turrets. I try telling the team I'll draw the attention of Reinhardt, someone flank him but it usually doesn't work out as it should.
Zarya was nice last night. There was one match where we couldn't move the
Payload to the final point due to two bastions and a torbjorn mowing us down from distance when we turned the corner, I felt that one instance we probably needed more range attack (another Pharah, a Widowmaker or hanzo) and/or a second Reinhardt but other than that Zarya was awesome especially on the King of the Hill (neutral objective) mapsLast edited by The JareBear; 06-03-2016, 05:28 PM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Overwatch
This map:
...was designed terribly around objective A. When trying to get to it from spawn as an attacker, there is a small hole at the top left that only a few heroes can get to but everyone else has to go thru the middle. There should be at least another alternative.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Tracer's pretty self-sufficient too, assuming you can use recall effectively. It's also really easy for her to blink around and find health packs.Comment
