To be honest, I would not agree. I know this is a personal-preference thing so there's no right and wrong here. Between the 360 and PC versions, I've clocked over 1500 hours in TF2 and I honestly prefer the 360 version. It's free of all the items you can get in the PC version, so you know every solider is capable of doing the same damage, that every engineer builds the same kind of turrets, etc. This is why TF2 as an e-sport never really took off. I also prefer the base version because it feels more similar to the original, Team Fortress Classic, which is probably my favorite game of all time.

Re: Overwatch
What is the most elims you guys have gotten with Mercy? I usually onky have her heal rod out but I've seen people switch back and forth between the healing and the gun and dish out some ancillary damage"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

I'll pull out the pistol if I feel like I need to defend myself too (mostly from annoying Tracers who get behind lines), but in randoms I mostly stick with buffing.Comment

Re: Overwatch
If I even get one its usually 1 at the most and only because I end up isolated. If I'm using Mercy then I feel like her dmg boost will keep me safe more than switching to my pistol. Now the second time I'm getting ganked and the guy I'm buffing has such low situational awareness that they don't turn and cover me I switch to Lucio because I can keep myself alive.Comment

Re: Overwatch
I had 4 in a game I was playing with all OS'ers. Mostly because they were doing work and I didn't need to worry much about healing or damage boosting.

Ah, Lucio. Now that is a fun character. I've had gold elims and healing with him in the same game before. He's so hard to hit.Comment

I can't get a handle of Lucios gun. I'd like to use him more often but when bastions and trobs constantly melt my teammates I feel compelled to switch characters (because my team of randoms refuse to switch out of their ineffective "mains")Comment

Sound Barrier is best used when your team is already pushing - activate it too soon and you'll get almost no benefit.

Re: Overwatch
So how do you guys feel about the decision to go with cosmetic only progression, now that we have had the game a few weeks?
I know that for me a big part of playing a game is a sense of progression, that is why Division fizzled for me after the first 200 hours. That is also why a game like BF4 can get thousands of hours of play time since you are always working to unlock more guns, upgrades, etc.
In OW, do you wish there was something you could grind toward? Maybe go with the TF2 approach and make it so its not necessarily better weapons just alternate versions of weapons, at least give something you feel like you are grinding toward?
The gameplay itself is so fun and the game is just such a blast but I feel like it might only appeal to the "hardcores" after the shine wears offMember of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: Overwatch
Pretty much. Just try to stay in line-of-sight of your teammates, use E when you need extra healing, and don't be afraid to speed boost out of danger if you think you're going to get killed - it's not worth that extra second or two of team healing if you end up getting sent back to spawn.

Re: Overwatch
I've started using Lucio as what I would best call a distraction tank. With his healing he can absorb massive amounts of dmg and with a team that groups up you can skate in pop it and then skate around in front of the enemy drawing their fire while your team picks them off. When my health gets low I'll skate behind a corner until my heal is ready then skate back to my team, pop it and continue tanking.
I really haven't found an effective use for the speed burst outside neutral maps or maybe getting Reinhardt or Bastion back in the fight. I understand the concept of using it to get your team by a bastion/torbs choke formation but it just seems like that's a waste of a cool down and requires way too much coordination.Comment
