Well, nobody screamed she was broken. She got blanket nerfed because of Trob.

Which makes no sense what so ever. Torbs Damage Output was crazy, Symmetras wasnt unless you went against idiots that didnt destroy the turrets or not kill her squishy self when she went in for her 2 foot kill range

I have a 77% win rate with Symmetra (and 2-0 in competitive). I don't know if it is coincidence or what, because I am far from good with her.

And thats the logic that Blizzard is trying to use with thier nerfs instead of looking at the other factors.

Then what about the Reinhart, Bastion, Mercy Combo then? That thing im sure has a 80% or better win rate, so in Blizzard logic they all 3 need nerfed.

The heavy turret/sentry nerfs were not needed at all IMO because they are both so easy to counter. Winston can clear an entire room of Symmetra sentries in seconds and a widow/hanzo/Genji can make short work of a Torb turret.

Feel bad for those of you that play with said heroes.

The Symmetra nerf was beyond stupid and I never even used her. She was so situational and only worked on defense

Not mention once her first set of six turrets were destroyed it was nearly impossible to set them back up to where it would help the team. Only way you could set them all up again was if you were preparing for the opposing team to break through to another part of the map so you are then sitting back not helping the team until that happens

Makes not sense really..... I really didn't even see much of a problem with Torbs but I guess many did

Torbjorn needed to be nerfed; maybe 30% was a bit much but something had to be done.

I definitely think Torb needed a nerf, for sure. 30 percent to the turret might have been harsh but time will tell. I haven't played since the patch dropped so I need to get on there and see for myself. I think in my perfect world there would have been a different way to nerf him into a balanced state. Oh well it doesn't matter.

I actually had fun playing with Symmetra.

Did a lot of flanking and racking up kills getting behind the enemy using whatever you call her gun.

I'm new to the game. So I may not be a good person to get an opinion on her from. Lol

What did they nerf on her?

Maybe I can go to the forums and scream about how the ult to win with Reaper is OP.......oh wait, I cant because Blizzards dumb asses wont let console players post there.

Or you could just, you know, use regular abilities like Ice Wall or D. Matrix to eat an entire Reaper ult.

This game becomes unfun really quick when the matchmaking is just completely lacking logic. I am to the point where I don't even want to play with my friends anymore since they are still pretty noobish, but it constantly matches us against people far higher ranked than even me (level 68, which I know isn't anything to boast about, but it's still higher than most in the vast majority of random games I play). For some reason though when I play with a group of 4-6 the other team's lowest players are around my level.

I feel like they buffed symmetra gun. I feel like if she starts hitting me with it my health drops faster. I remember being able to pretty much ignore her after her turrets were gone.

So maybe just faced bad players earlier but her gun to me arms like it does more damage to adjust for sentry nerf. Which I age didn't need to happen to her.

But also tried Ana and I feel while she is okay her ultimate is great I just feel Zenyatta is so much better now for the second support. That extra 50 shield is great makes you not so squishy plus you fly around in ultimate now. Easy to get your team healed during those team fights/pushes. No more them running away from you as you can zip right on over to them

As a near 10 hour D'va player I am happy for her changes and cant wait to learn the new her but I am all for balance and I feel torb no longer needed a change as long as D'va got buffed and the one hero limit in comp was a thing.

My goal as D'va on offense was to be the turret police right out the gate. Now I know i no longer have to fear a torb at all and that is not fair at all.

Usually on Defense I would lock down the point with her but now I feel like she is better suited on the front lines with tracer and reaper.

The thought of defending a point with D'va/Tracer/Reaper/Lucio on the front lines with a torb/solider 76/Mercy on the back line sounds like heaven!

Sometimes you just ain't meant to win games. Or teammates stick on tracer when they have 3 tanks.

I officially hate D.Va.

I don't mind the boost to her ult. I don't mind the boost to her defense matrix.

I just cannot stand she has 500 health (with unlimited ammo, by the way) and even when you kill her mech, she has 150 health. The mech needs to be dropped down to 300-350.

If you're playing quick play, the matchmaking will be extra wonky if your team skill is varied.
