Re: The Official Best Buy Gamers Club Thread
I don't even see the 20% discount when I check Best Buy.
Edit. Oops. Had to add to cart

Re: The Official Best Buy Gamers Club Thread
While it sucks that GCU is going away, I'll continue to buy my games from Best Buy just as I am now. With the certificates you can get and the rewards bonus for pre-ordering certain games and as long as they continue to price match, I don't see myself going any where else especially since I buy a lot of my electronic needs and appliances from Best Buy.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Between this and lowering the amount of games that come with the certificate, BB has been telling me for a while now they're not interested in my business. I think it's best I just take the hint.

Re: The Official Best Buy Gamers Club Thread
Shame about GCU. Have been a member since it started years ago and even dating back to when it was called the Reward Zone. My membership expires in August and I was going to renew/extend my membership a month or so ago but said, nah, I'll wait until early August. Stupid me.
Before my membership expires, I'll pre-order the few 2018 games that I want but starting in 2019, I'll be buying all my games at GameStop mainly because Best Buy takes way too long to list trade in values where as GameStop lists them on the day the game releases.
I'll trade in the games that im buying from Best Buy for the rest of 2018 and start with enough credit for at least two games at GameStop in 2019. Would prefer to stay with Best Buy but without GCU and with them taking forever to post trade in values, not much point. It was awesome while it lasted though.Last edited by peter42O; 05-30-2018, 06:23 PM.Comment

Re: The Official Best Buy Gamers Club Thread
Mine expires in late August. I have five games. Will definitely take advantage of this along with buying the E-Gift Cards in which each one is $150 with a $15 gift code back three weeks later. Figured that I take full advantage of GCU before it no longer exists.
