Sounds like a rewards certificate as opposed to an actual $10 coupon. Check your points/rewards on your account to be sure.

I also received one, it's a $10 off coupon that expires on Jan 28. You can use it on anything. Nothing to do with your rewards certificates

Thanks, jumped on this one again. I pre-ordered The Show and RDR 2, then added Gone Girl on Blu-ray in one set.

Then I did another set and ordered three laptop chargers, which totaled over $100. None of them say they are compatible with my model, but we'll see what happens (they will fit, at the very least). The cheapest one to work will be the one I keep, and I will return the others; should none work, I will return them all.

Now, with the above scenario, you might think: "Won't returning the others void the Visa Checkout promotion?" To be honest, I'm not sure. When you look at the receipt, you'll see that they apply the promotion partially to the majority of the items you purchase (games are normally $12 discounted, which is the case for The Show and RDR 2, whilst Gone Girl was the last $1 off for instance). I think all they do is apply the promotion to some titles, and if something is returned you are just given back the amount you technically paid for on the item. So if I returned The Show, I would only get like $35.99 + tax back.

In this case, my three laptop chargers took the $25 discount in the following ways (from the original product price to the discount amount):

$49.99 - $12.50
$32.99 - $8.25
$27.99 - $4.25

So let's say that the cheapest charger actually ends up working. If I return the other two, at most I only end up saving about $5 when tax and all is considered. That's not much, but hey it's something. We'll see, though. If the promotion voids itself once I dip under $100 after returns, it's no big deal.

Oh, I also bought a $10 PSN card with the $10 code, but did it in a separate purchase because if I applied the $10 code on a $25 Visa Checkout promotion, it discounted a portion of the $25 off as well lol.

No code for me. Missed the one in the fall. Never got the PSN one after buying the Pro. No idea what I'm doing wrong. Best Buy (and Sony) hate me apparently.

Same here! Used my $10 code and the visa $25.00 off $100.00 promo and bought MLB The Show 17 MVP, and Mass Effect Andromeda Deluxe and paid $82.42 for both!

You guys should also try eBates, gives you cash back on purchases, over the holidays I got a little over $30 back from online purchases. They send it right to paypal or send it by check

Just preordered Nioh and Mass Effect Andromeda Deluxe Edition for $84 both using GCU and the $25 off $100 Visa Checkout.

Kind of a bit of blind faith in Nioh, don't know much about it but I've heard the hype and such so I'm taking a chance on it..

Nioh is a cross between the Souls games and Onimusha. I played the demo and it was very hard. Of course, im not that good in Souls games so that definitely played into it. Nioh is said to be looking very good all around.

It would be so awesome if the 20% off new games applied to digital games as well. There's just something about being able to essentially switch games on the fly without having to change a disc.

I love it with my digital only games (Astroneer, Hitman, Long Dark)...just sucks that the resale plan for digital got killed by whiny gamers.
