Love playing Assault. Almost playing it exclusively now since there never seems to be enough people taking out vehicles. I'm in love with the A-10 Hunter shotgun. Anyone play with the Slug version of that?

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
I was mortaring the other day. Came back out of the view that follows the mortar to see a guy standing right behind me. Before I am off of the mortar I see a bayonet come through him as a teammate saves my life. By the time I am back in first person and turned around I see my teammate get a bayonet through his back. I was able to avenge him. I don't know who he was, but I will always remember his sacrifice.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Found a nice weapon for the Medic class in the Sweeper. Had a bad round and went 5-11 but was surprised I was at the very top of the scoreboard beating out someone who went 33-2. I love the Russian 1895 infantry and have over 151 kills with it.Comment

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
I played with a great group of randoms in my squad yesterday. I gave orders they responded, we healed, revived, resupplied as a unit. It does not happen often but when it clicks it is awesome.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

I hardly run with randoms if at all, but to have the entire squad all focusing on a single objective like you described, well it's a thing of beauty.Comment

They are actually thinking about changing a map or maps through an update? Hmm, that's a bit unprecedented. Source?Gig 'em, Aggies!Comment

I guess that's why, almost always, I play with a squad full of people I know. Even then, the team balancing of this game will almost always put a good squad on a bad team. Hopefully in the future, they will allow a squad to stick to a team regardless of how well/poorly it performs. One of many things I liked about Hardline was that they allowed a squad to stay with one team for the most part. So if your team was dominating, it would continue to dominate unless people dropped out of the other team and some better people joined to help the other team out. That would be something I would like to see with this game also.
Also, like many of you mentioned if I am in a chat with more than 5 people, I want both of our squads to stay in the same team. So far, based on my experience in BF1, squads that are in the same party get split up very often. Hopefully, that also turns out to be something they decide to change in the future.Gig 'em, Aggies!Comment

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
So two separate games of rush as defenders we were getting destroyed. One was on the empire map I believe, the Asian coast with a fort. They just run through us until the very last telegraph inside the fort. My buddy gets a flamethrower kit, I am a medic, we sit on the telegraph with a medical crate and him constantly throwing fire everywhere. A support crate is also down for me and others to keep throwing incendiary grenades everywhere. We win the game and they never really made it close to getting a plant on the last one.
Game two, in the forest, again they tear through us and get to the final one underneath in the ruins with two entrances. I play as a scout with incendiary grenades. A couple of supports put down crates and I constantly throw the grenades in each entrance as well as a flare in each. They can never enter without catching on fire as I'm resupplied so quickly to constantly have fire plus the flares show us exactly what entrance they're pushing.
I pretty much haven't touched a scout class since Bad Company 2 when you could C4 the bombs in rush, but I just started using it and am really enjoying it. I have my magnification set pretty low and am able to push with everyone all the while constantly flaring to get spots all around. Nothing is more satisfying than shooting a flare up over buildings, trees, whatever and seconds later seeing 100+ points of fire damage because you hit some unlucky squad. I got a few kills from random flare shots, too, which is funny, but I can imagine how confusing or frustrating that could be to randomly be flared when already injured.Last edited by canes21; 11-07-2016, 10:46 AM.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
SpoilerDICE today revealed some of the changes for and additions to*Battlefield 1*coming in the future. First, the developer*said in a blog post*that it will tweak the Suez map to make Conquest matches "more balanced and the map size more fitting."
There are currently only three flags, but the update will add two more, for a total of five, bringing the map more in line with others in Conquest. Additionally, the capture area size for two of the control points (A and C) are being reduced in an effort to create "more dynamic matches." Further still, one additional armored vehicle will be added to each side's base. DICE didn't say when the update that makes these changes will be released.
SpoilerBased on your input, we are changing the layout of the Suez map in Conquest to make the matches more balanced and the map size more fitting. We have expanded the layout to feature five instead of three flags. We’re also reducing the capture area size of the two control points located within the map’s villages (currently flag A and C) to create more dynamic matches. Furthermore, we’re adding one armored vehicle to each team’s base to give dominated teams a better chance to quickly get across the map and capture a control point behind enemy lines.

In general I always wished the map cap points cycled so they were in different locations every few times when you played the same map.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment
