Hey, I've gone past needing to justify and seeking validation on hardcore vs non hardcore. Play what ya want and have fun. That's really all that needs to be said on either mode.

I'm sure they'll add hardcore mode for those of you who prefer it soon enough.

It was more of a response to those asking why some prefer the mode and less of me trying to convince anyone it's the better mode

Totally understand, and although my comments seemed like a response to your post that was not my intention. I was speaking in general terms, my apologies if you felt I was directing my post towards you.

The worse thing about hardcore in bf is no spotting. Its so stupid. Snipers and medics are already everywhere, I can imagine how many there be wheb you cant spot and they can hit your big toe and kill you. 😂

Also count me in for hopingone of the expansions is WW2 based. That be amazing.

Well...spotting DOES exist on hardcore, but you have to open your actual map to see spotted enemies. The only difference is it doesn't show on your mini-map. It's little more tactical to use, but it absolutely is still there and needed.

I'd be a huge fan of a game mode that uses the health/damage system of hardcore mode, but doesn't remove HUD items. I'm hoping that the "Custom Game Modes" allows for that.

Teamed up with some dudes from facebook group. Played 3 games our squad was 1st in caps/defends 1st in KDR and we lost all 3 games by more than 200 tickets.

I played a match earlier where I just got mudstomped. I think I went like 9-20 and only got credit for a couple caps. Wish I could sit back and blame randoms like I normally do but it was all me. Just got owned.

Don't feel bad: 9-20 would be a GOOD round for me. My 51-year-old reflexes get exposed in this game, BIG time. But I'm still having fun!

I like both normal and hardcore mode. The main reason I like hardcore mode is because I can finally get kills with a sniper rifle!

Our squad is usually in the top 5 spots or at least most of us 5 in the top 7 spots or so and we can be on the winning team like that or on the team that just got beat.

I guess what I'm saying is sometimes it's out of your squads hands. You can cap objectives, kick ***, rack up kills etc. But if the blueberries aren't holding their own then it won't mean a thing.

I may have found my sweet spot last night. I finally leveled up my medic to level 3 and got the dragon sniper rifle. I was healing like a madman as usual but I had my best round ever as far as kills go too. K/D was 22/8 (for me that is unheard of) and of course I PTFO as well. Of course we still lost as a team, so no bonus points for me...

50 in January....I'm with ya.

My level of personal accomplishment for a round; I look at my score first. If that's solid the rest is a DISTANT second.

However, Bolt's heard me giggle like a schoolgirl when I come in at 10 kills 15 deaths, and EVERYONE here that I have played with has heard me exclaim "I was POSITIVE!!!!" when I exceed a 1 KDR for a round.

Mediocrity....lowering the bar one round at a time.
