I've unfortunately stopped playing this much because of the lack of hardcore mode. I'm pretty disappointed in Dice for not having the mode ready at launch. Maybe this was known beforehand and I just missed? I just can't handle playing Normal mode that much.

Anyone know how to zoom the mini map out? I made the mini map a little bigger thinking it would zoom out some so I could see more but it stays the same no matter how big I make it.

On PC there's in option under gameplay settings I believe.

I do not know what it is about this game but am bored of it already. I love so much of it but something is missing. I just do not like the old weapons, i love the maps and graphics and gameplay but hate the old weapons and look of the characters...I have not played in 2 days and have no urge to fire it up

This disappointed the heck out of me as well. If you go to the BF1 official forums, youll find a bunch of self-righteous guys telling you that they didnt promise hardcore mode at launch, so noone should be upset. Its more the point of they didnt tell anyone it wouldnt be in there, when , as far as I'm aware, it has been in the game at lunch since BF3.

Even Bad Company 2 had hardcore.

I'm with you guys. There's been quite a few times that I've said to myself I'm done until hardcore gets here....but I keep playing. To me, its the ONLY major downfall of the game (the bullet sponge). This game really is great already, and once hardcore gets here, it will go to a different level.

Anyway, we don't have a date, but we do have confirmation. Hardcore is coming.

Good news, Battlefield 1 classic mode is indeed happening. Check out what it will feature and when it'll be impemented by developer DICE.

I maxed out support and assault, now I have to do medic and scout. Keeping the game fresh

All I have left is scout but I've been having amazing games the last two nights using the other three classes so I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I have to agree with you on that. I was very disappointed with the weapon selection in this game. Having realized that the weapons from that era weren't too sophisticated, I don't understand why they just didn't revert back to WW2 instead of WW1. Although I liked the simplicity of the weapon customizations at the beginning, I quickly got tired of using only a few guns over and over just because some weapons simply weren't effective enough in any situation.

Hit a rough patch recently. Been trying to cap a bunch of objectives as a scout since most of my squad just want to sit back and snipe from far away. So I've been getting killed a lot more which has brought my score per minute and my k/d way down. I guess I just need to take it slower and not rush to get another objective or when I see that an enemy is taking one of our objective to not rush right over there.

Traded it in. I love it in theory, but the sp was halfassed and I'm exclusively a tdm guy and it's a mess in bf1.

The single player wasn't half-assed. You're allowed to dislike the game. But half-assed? Really? Are you sure you played the right game (kidding)
