Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
I can't fault you for feeling that way. When I was playing the air mission campaign chapter there were points, at the beginning, where I felt like I was flying an X-Wing over Hoth in Battlefront
Seeing as how it shares the same new engine, similarities (visually) will definitely be there. Honestly I never played BF4 as deeply as guys like Rez and Bolt did so I can't really comment on how shallow this game is vs BF4. Those guys would know better than me.
I do know that I sucked at BF4, and I did pretty well in Hardline (and thus, I liked Hardline more) and I was told that it was probably because BF4 was "deeper" and Hardline was just "more simple." BF1 seems more in line with Hardline in that regard and for ME, just me personally, that is a good thing. The BF1 gameplay appeals to me but I can see how more hardcore BF fans would prefer the older style better.Last edited by Bigg Cee; 11-01-2016, 08:56 PM.Comment

I didn't play Hardline until everything had already been released for it. I don't know how that game looked at launch. Was it as easy to max out your class in Hardline and BF4 as it is in BF1? I feel like I have everything unlocked pretty quickly compared to those other two games. Am I wrong?

I honestly could use some gore in this game. I would of loved if body parts blew off like Cod world at war. I don't need graphic guts and gore but some limbs blowing off would be nice for this WW1 setting.Last edited by Bigg Cee; 11-01-2016, 11:44 PM.Comment

I do personally think they should of done WWII though, or Vietnam. The years between those two wars are probably the most interesting in terms of engineering, technology, etc..Comment

It is titled "Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)" after all. I believe anything related to the title is open for discussion. Plus the timeline does have a huge effect on the type of weapons available, which has already disappointed many.Gig 'em, Aggies!Comment

But setting? You knew where the game took place, there was videos and beta available so you knew what you were buying.
Game is a gem compared to other games that are out and that thrash called cod.Comment

I find it refreshing. A shooter for a time period that hasn't been covered in video games or hardly in movies. I like that they tried something new. I am actually still burned out on the multiple ww2 games
