Just got myself a white arabian. And when I say it was easy to get, I mean it was EASY to get. Spawned right in front of me and took all but a minute or 2 to tame.

      Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

Had not played since Oct 31st.

So I finally was able to get in an hour this morning. Time simply flies by when I play. I will be putting in a late night with this title. Still on chapter 2. Was able to unlock another fence. I want to unlock the trapper. Still not even there yet. Once I do though......we are going on a full fledged camping/hunting trip.

May be the best video game I have ever played.

It's really silly and I don't support the decision at all. The first game did the cycle perfectly, IMO.

I don’t know why there’s not a setting for this that allows us to adjust it to our liking. Let us have real-time if we want. Not that I’d do that.

Is the trapper a mission unlock, I'm not there either, taking my time.

What's the fence for? I believe the trapper is for legendary items, but I have no idea what the fence is for.

I don't know, you might have some competition. I manage/co own a comic book store. Have a 65' 4k at the store with both consoles and a 32' streaming movies and TV shows, all comic book related of course. Plus Im on my laptop right now typing this while at work.

The trapper is for hunting goods in general. You can sell pelts, carcasses, items (such as antlers, teeth, etc). You can buy bait, scent lotion, etc.

The Fence is for stuff you loot off of people, such as pocket watches and wedding rings.

I've read you can force unlock him by traveling to his area or he'll unlock naturally as the story progresses into his area. I'm not there either.

I have a Fence and definitley used him to get money back on items I've stolen.

I have not unlocked the Trapper though I hope to this weekend. Nearly 30 hours in, I think it's about time I play some more story missions and get to Chapter 3.

Does the Trapper have my legendary bear pelt? I carried that thing on my horse for like 15 hours before losing a gun fight with the O'Driscolls and losing it.

It's basically a pawn shop. Things you steal/loot that can't be sold to a butcher, general store, etc can be sold at a fence. Rings, watches, bars of gold, etc.

I really wish the trapper was setup better. It’s so hard to tell exactly what you need to give him. I gave some pelts to camp for crafting last night that I would have much rather given to him.

The fence is for selling hot items, but it's best feature is all of the recipes you cam buy from it.

You should he able to see exactly what is needed for every item he can craft by looking at it and pressing in the right thumb stick I think it is.
