A DAMN shame how good this game looks on PC. Glad I only got about 6 hours in on X1X. PC owners should be in for a treat come 11/5/19

I gave RDO the ol' college try this morning, determined to get into it and learn the ins and outs. I've never been an online gamer. I tried RDO for about a half hour last winter.

I managed to play for a couple of hours but I got disconnected four times. It already killed my desire to play. I was 15 minutes into a 17-minute mission when I got booted. That's as frustrating as it gets. I don't know how people deal with this kind of stuff on a regular basis.

Yea I can't imagine dealing with something like that, super frustrating.

But for what it's worth, I'm pretty sure the disconnect issue is new and not something that's been happening until recently. Doesn't make it any less frustrating. Hopefully they get it fixed.

I've put maybe 5-6 hours in on Xbox. It's way better now than it was at launch up until a couple months ago. Looking forward to getting into it more on PC.

I agree. At launch it was barren. I had quite a bit of fun yesterday without interacting with another online gamer the entire time. Just doing Trader stuff with Cripps, collections with Madam Nazar, bounties, and random stranger missions. It was pretty fun because it was damn near an offline experience.

Just can't get into the online modes for either this or GTA no matter how many times I've tried. Just doesn't hold my attention without a real story

I got RDR 2 on PS4 when it first came out but I never actually finished the story and have stayed away from spoilers on the internet all year long. As other games came out and as life gets in the way it got put on the back burner. I was fixing to pick it back up again and then I was made aware of the upcoming PC release. I've already pre ordered the game for PC and am looking forward to playing on ultra settings at higher frame rates with a mouse and keyboard. It should be a fantastic experience. That said, this is the first game I've ever bought twice. I just hope they let us pre load the game before launch. As big of a file size as it is it could take a while to download.

Pre ordered myself last night. The Trailer for PC looked insane and made the wait that much harder. I’m guessing mods for this should be in abundance and I’m looking forward to it.

How do you play a game like this with just a mouse and keyboard?

What do you mean with just a mouse and keyboard? IMO, it’s rare for a game to feel better with a controller over KB/Mouse.
