    Would have been cool if they added some movie moments or historical events to play thru like;
    - Saloon scene in Unforgiven.
    - OK Coral
    - clean up Dodge as Wyatt Earp
    - Track down murderer in True Grit
    - Hunt Billy the Kid
    Etc

Really disappointed that we’re not going to get an Undead Nightmare 2. Sucks that they can’t be bothered to give us some kind of single player DLC.

Witch Rockstar making Scrooge McDuck levels of money from GTA Online I doubt we'll see single player DLC from them again.

It is a good game I'm still on chapter 4 and there are a lot of random encounters this time around. Also, there is an Honor system like the original except this one can change how people act towards you, also can affect certain mission dialogue and/or choices towards the end of the game from what I've read and or heard.

I just never liked how something that you do in complete isolation lowers your honor.

If I slay 100 people without anyone knowing, I shouldn't be getting comments from people in the towns or not have my items on sale anymore. It should only be if somebody is made aware somehow, even if I am paying off bounties all the meanwhile.

This was something I thought the developers were going to change for RDR2. I either made that up in my own head, or they backed-out.

But this is something I really wish they would have fixed for RDR2. Unless there is a direct witness, your honour level shouldn't change at all.
Now, if they added a Moral Meter, then that's something different - and could have been very interesting.
If your Moral Meter was in the red, then certain options shouldn't be available to you - like the choice presented to the user at the very end.
There should have only been one choice and it wasn't going to win you any friends.

                  Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

The next step for the honor system next time they make a RDR game is to have the choices you make truly impact the story beyond some slightly different endings and dialogue. Make it so its worth it to play through the whole game multiple times making different choices. Even if they have to make the story shorter to pull it off

Maybe it's just me, but the whole "honor" system always felt gamey to me. Yeah, your reputation might eventually lead before you, but most of these people aren't going to know you or who you are at first sight. In the beginning they should be ****ting on you because of your clothes, the mud on your horse, etc and not about whether or not you helped the old lady cross the street at the beginning of the game.

It has the Mass Effect problem of choices being too cut and dry most of the time. I'd rather have the Witcher 3 model. Least it isn't the L.A. Noire system of choosing "Doubt" and having Cole yell at an old woman.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure anymore. I thought that it did though, thinking I'm stuck no matter what.

Yeah, true. I guess I was more thinking about how I didn't have to worry about hunting down witnesses.
