I also liked that I knew exactly how (un)important all of the annoying RGP-stuff was and ignored most of it the second time through. I barely did any crafting, hunting, and I completely ignored the camp. I didn't donate a thing and it didn't have much of an impact.
Yea even the 2nd playthrough Sadie really came out of nowhere as an important character.

I'm guessing all that stuff was by design to appeal to more people, but i wish they at least gave some meaningful benefit to doing that stuff. Plus first time through I donated almost everything back to the camp, I'd read the ledger and for every 10 donations i made id see one 37 cent donation from somebody else...yet still I'd get Ms. Grimshaw coming up to me saying I haven't donated in awhile smh.

During the epilogue are there a lot of John specific things that happen if you go out exploring or is it a waste if you already explored a lot?

See the game is on sale again on PSN, thinking it's time for me to pick it up and see what the hype is all about. I never played the first RDR, so going in with no real expectations.

You won't be disappointed. I'm not really a western fan and played this all the way through.

            I'm excited for you.

I don't intend on telling you how to play, but when I slow this down to a crawl and play it like an RPG, I feel I'm getting so much out of the experience.

For me the story is pulling me in as much as the gameplay is.

You are in for a real treat. One of the great open world games of all time. I sunk 100 hours into this bad boy.

                      Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

Hey quick question. I have been playing a lot of Red Dead Online the last couple of months but I have only been able to play twice since the new update due to moving to a new city. Now that I am settled I have a big question:

Did they turn aim-assist off in Showdown matches (PVP)? I have played in the Featured Series matches twice since being online and aim-assist is not working at all for me or anyone in my posse. I tried to look to see if they turned it off but I haven't found anything.

                      Thanks!

I think I'm close to 300 hours into the game now and have yet to get out of chapter 4 I think it is I am in. Without spoiling anything I'll just say spaghetti should give anyone a clue as to where I am at still.

Wow, I knew I missed some things, but I finished the main story at about 100 hours and thought that was a long time.

Let's just say that I've gone on hunting trips with my horse, killed two deer, put one on the horse, carried the other, and literally walked back to camp more than once and that isn't even the slowest pace I've played at.

With the recent news about the RDR2 devs being 100% focused on online, that's my cue to go on and delete the game. The Last of Us 2 is on the way and I can use those 100GB elsewhere.

It’s a shame we aren’t getting any SP DLC however I’m not surprised as GTA did the same thing. They could have put the prologue as DLC and I would have still loved the main game and easily handed them over more $.
