    Question about a John mission.

    Spoiler

EDIT: Again, never mind lol. Every time I post on here to get help, I figure it out on the next try.

        Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

Some of these convos and situations can be funny.

In camp I walked over to one of the woman lying back listening to music. I greeted her and she told me something negative like, "things could be a lot better!"

So I just ignored her and stood there while I checked out my inventory. Meanwhile, she finds this incredibly rude and tells me I don't need to keep hanging around. Finally, by the time I realize that the game is actually responding to me just staring at someone, she gets up, essentially calls me an ******* and walks off.

I tried to defuse the situation by doing the classic thing a man should never do, and chased after her. She kept shouting at me to stop following and leave her alone. So I did.

Now she's all pissy with me whenever I come by to say hello.

I said hello to another woman in the camp and she was much nicer. But I turned around to check out my surroundings and I guess she wasn't happy that I just stood in her space. So she says, "okay, you can go now. Don't need to make it creepy."

So I'm glad I'm failing at talking to women in video games as much as in real life.

Edit. If anyone has done the first saloon mission, you might also notice that Arthur actually isn't any good at talking to women. So I think I'm living up to the Rockstar's expectations.

If you come across enemies at night with lanterns on their horses, don't shoot the lanterns.

Can’t stand the missions that make you draw your gun by slowly hitting RT. No idea what I’m missing but they take me multiple tries every single time. I wouldn’t mind at all if they didn’t exist.

Do I skin it first? Donate it somehow?

Doesn’t help that you can’t seem to review the little hints that pop up. I’ve missed or forgotten probably 80% of the stuff Rockstar wants you to know about this game with it’s hint system.

                God, this game amazes me.

Everyone be extra careful on Reddit. Several snapshots of the ending (or one of the endings?) riding low-key in the comments of most posts I've read today.

One question. I bought some hair tonic, but I'm not seeing it my inventory. I repurchased it twice. Anyone else have this problem?

                  Maybe on your horse?

Also from PS4 trophies, no one has finished the game. I don't know about XBOX.

Makes me wonder who exactly is spilling the beans.

I'm confused a bit. If part 2 is prequel in 1899 as the prologue story suggests , does that mean the original RDR is in 1909? Beginning the story talks about there's no more Gunslingers and to me it seems like the Gunslingers were quite alive and well in RDR

                      Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

Here's a question - What's the point of having the Dead Eye meter and Dead Eye core when the bar doesn't regenerate over time? The help section kind of contradicts itself on this - The general help only specifically mentions heath and stamina regenerating, but the combat section says Dead Eye does. Anyone have any ideas? It's easy enough to camp and get the bar back (as long as I have core) or use a provision, but I feel like I'm missing something.

Without giving too much away, Red Dead Redemption 1 is about the complete eradication of the gunslinger. In contrast, RDR 2 still seems to offer a sense of cohesion among outlaws. Maybe that sounds weird, but it'll make sense if you ever go back and play the first one.

Since it's a prequel, I don't think it's necessary to play the first. Rather, it's just one of those things where if you did play the first, a number of characters and name drops will hold significantly more meaning and importance.

I actually think it would be pretty cool to play 1 after this.

Poured many many many hours into RDR. I could never go back now that I am playing RDR2. The gameplay, cinematic camera, AI, encounters etc etc it is just an entirely new level of amazing.

But if you have not played the 1st one yet.....it is cool and it was a fantastic game. But I already played it to death and this game is simply a massive improvement in so many significant ways.

I love RDR, but this game is far more interesting to play, and makes it seem small and ridiculously primitive by comparison.
