Just beat RDR on Xbox One X, a really good game, the graphics hold up very good for an 8 year old game it still looks top notch. And the ending, wow! I didn't expect it to end like that, my jaw dropped I was in disbelief!
Some things they can improve upon, the towns were not populated enough, I thought Blackwater should have been more populated. Need more things to do, once I beat the game I was bored of bounty hunting, night watching, collecting plants, etc, just got repetitive, I felt it was not much playability after beating the game. All in all it was a great game, looking forward to RDR2, not going to wait 8 years to play it this time going on buy day one!

I think they figure you can hop into online play after you beat the game. Endless gameplay there. Online in original read dead was fun as hell.Comment

Red Dead Redemption 2 Gives You A Selfie Camera, Here's How It Works
Yet another detail about Red Dead Redemption 2 has come to light--and it has to do with selfies. During our preview recently, we encountered a mission with a character who gave us a camera. You can take out the camera at any time to snap pictures of the gorgeous surroundings, but of course, the first thing we tried to do was take a selfie.
You can take selfies in Red Dead Redemption 2, but not quite in the same way you can in Grand Theft Auto V. Instead of holding the camera and extending your arm, the "selfie" perspective is called "self-portrait" and it shows Arthur Morgan from a further away perspective. Presumably, that's to be era-appropriate, with the camera being set up on a tripod or something of the sort. Still, if you want to snap a picture of Arthur, you do have a means for doing so.
There are a number of different poses--like squatting and standing with your arm on your waist--and expressions you can select from. You can then share your snaps to your Rockstar Social Club page. it's not immediately clear if you can post your selfies directly to social media from the game, but we hope so. If nothing else, you can use the PS4 and Xbox One's built-in sharing functions to accomplish that.

This is a big, dense game, and we've only just gotten a taste of it, but it's wildly apparent that there is a lot to take in.

The diverse habitats and climates of Red Dead Redemption 2 are home to around 200 species of animals, birds and fish, all of which behave and respond to their environment in a unique way.
Deer, bison and pronghorn traverse the plains in large herds, scavengers quickly sniff out carrion, sockeye salmon leap upstream, wolves attack in packs surrounding their prey, geese fly in fixed formations, possums play dead, rodents scamper into tree hollows, grizzly bears bluff charge when threatened, and birds of prey soar on thermals. They all form part of a complex ecosystem and must continually fight for their place on the food chain. The wilderness is at once a bountiful and perilous place, for both man and beast, and any predator can quickly turn prey.
