I didn't see him at all the first time I failed the mission, 2nd time I caught a glimpse of the direction he was heading. My screen is pretty bright, but it's not fancy oled or anything like that. Playing on ps4 pro with HDR on.

Couldn't keep my eyes open, got 3 missions done then my One X froze, losing my progress on the third that I'd just finished.

Will pick it back up late tomorrow, but I hope this weather clears soon or time passes or something.

I have no words. The first was my GOAT. This will clearly pass it. The cinematics are second to none. This game doesn't just break the mold, it crushes it and creates a brand new standard 10x as high. This game is the paradigm shift of game development.

What an amazing and breathing taking game. This game is game of the year in my eyes. Not only is this a step forward, but this is going to change how Open World games are done. I’m blown away so far and I can’t wait to dive right in!

Well I'm out of chapter one and on to chapter two. Definitely was a very slow pace to start, but I'm enjoying it so far. I'm going to take a break for a bit now that I've advanced to the next chapter. Now that the world is beginning to open up, I don't know how I'll handle playing this. I'd like to progress a chapter at a time when I have meaningful play time with the game, but I know I'll be sucked into the world and lost from the story in no time.

I called Best Buy earlier today and they said they'd only be open until about 9:30 or so. Considering I just got home a few minutes ago, it's safe to say I was not able to claim my copy.

I have a decent break in my morning tomorrow where I can snag it and stick it into the PS4 for installation so it will be ready when I return in the late afternoon, though as I said before I won't have much time this weekend to play it. Maybe just a couple of hours on Friday unless I want to actually get no sleep at all.

Hope you are all enjoying your copies!

The scale of this game is ridiculous. It's just so stunningly beautiful as well.
                Spoiler

First time in many years a game has made me question if what I'm looking at is actually happening on the screen because it's such a leap. No open world has ever felt this alive. I'm a pretty jaded gamer these days, but I'm stunned.

Really digging the weightier and slower and more deliberate pace to everything too.

FWIW, I'm not seeing any performance drop at all from having Supersampling mode on for PS4 Pro. Game is 30 FPS and most games that are locked to that don't see too many performance problems with it enabled.

Also, it could be a while before I get on the main story track - having way too much fun hunting.

What's funny is I just started running away from everyone because I assumed if he was getting away and I didn't see him, then he had to have gone the opposite direction.

So I chased a ghost for like five steps and got yelled at to leave it alone and get back.

                      Oh well.

That is what I did I got up at 6:00 AM and played for about an hour. Will play a little more before I have to go to work and then play a lot this weekend.

I got up to Chapter 2 last night and called it a night. This game is incredible. The visuals are stunning and the gunfights are fantastic! I haven't even scratched the surface of this game yet and I'm blown away.
