I just finished the game I give it a 4 out of 10 for a score.

I played through the first game for the fifth time days before this one came out, it's one of my all time favorites. Personally I find it embarrassing that in 7 years this is the best that Naughty Dog could come up with. Such a lame story and once again we get the alternative lifestyles on full display. That's fine I guess but so often it goes overboard , this is supposed to be a video game , a format that is meant to provide fun and entertainment , no to push one's personal views on us.

Although I did enjoy the game up until I had to play as "Abby" , why anyone thought fans of the first game would want to play through several hours of gameplay as someone that just bashed the main characters head in is beyond me. At one point I stopped playing, but decided to continue on to finish the game.

Finally the way the game ends has to be one of the biggest let downs in gaming history. I was sitting looking at my screen and thinking why the hell did I just spend all this time playing this?

I personally have not played this one, and theres a good chance I won't based on all of the feedback I've read, but I've been reading around the internet a few days now and what you're saying seems to be a pretty common feeling from lots of people. I know the initial outrage when the story was leaked was people possibly overreacting and making the game out to be more political than it is, but it seems now that people have had their hands on the game and finished it, there are still a lot of dissatisfied people out there who are confused why the game made the decisions that it did.

Still playing through the game and until I complete it, all I will say is this - for those who saw the leaked video or read about it and everyone said, wait for "the context". Well the context is WORSE than what you see/read from the leaks. This in of itself should speak volumes.

In what way? Just finished and loved it! I was iffy on a part at first, but once it was done, it was a great ride.

back lash at all. Are people mad because Ellie is gay? We already knew that with the Left Behind DLC. Why is it okay to push a straight couple but we can’t have lesbian couple? People mad Joel died? It doesn’t bother me. Main characters have to die sometimes. Playing as Abby? Okay it was longer than it should be but I really enjoyed her story

As far as criticism. I sure hope you’re not basing it on meta critic scores. People were giving it a zero the first day of release. Most of those people didn’t even play the game and are review bombing because some supposed agenda and leaks they read. Not playing it and just reading things and or watching videos doesn’t do the game justice.

I'm 8.5 hours in. Don't want to state progress or location, but yeah. I feel like I could've done what I've done so far in four hours if I didn't bask in everything and try and do stealth kills all the time, hah.

I love smashing glass everywhere (building windows, shower doors, car windows, trophy displays, etc.) and upgrading my weapons (the attention to detail is so satisfying to watch).

I enabled enhanced listening so that I can be sure that I have collected everything from an area before I leave. I'm sure it has added hours to my playtime.
