Alana Pearce (formerly of IGN) said last week on the RDX Podcast that from those she know inside Sony that Ghost of Tsushima is not being delayed and on track to keep it's June 26th release date. I also believe that it will hit it's release date. Of course, we will know for sure by May 8th, May 15th the latest if it doesn't get delayed by then, it will go Gold shortly thereafter.

I haven’t seen the leaks yet but apparently it’s turning off a lot of people not wanting to play the game now. Seems to be with the story decisions.

I've read most of them and won't go into any details. If the leaks are true it's just kind of.....meh? To me at least. There are really two main talking points I have heard. One is whether or not the core story is too political. The other is if one of the main points of conflict in the story is just "meh"

I don't care that much about the political side of things, but I will say if the leaks are true I will just say it puts me in the camp of wanting to wait and see. The alleged source of conflict in the narrative doesn't grab me as much as I'd like it too. To me it reeks of "that's the best you could do?". I've gone from "Day 1" purchase on this to "I'm going to wait and see what the vibe is over the first week" before I decide to purchase.

If Dying Light 2 gets a release date sometime soon I'd be more inclined to spend my money on that day 1 than TLOU Part 2 based on what I am hearing. YMMV.

After seeing the leaked video clip and reading about the path the story takes , I'll wait and pick this up a year from now for $15.00. I now feel this story won't be as good as the first.

A reminder if you use twitter that you can mute words by going to your settings that's what I've done. I don't know what was said and don't want to. In the end I trust Naughty Dog to tell a compelling story and make a fun game.

Without going into any spoilers there’s three takes. One can be considered political. The other is just ****ty writing like GOT season 8 ****ty writing. The last is crap working conditions and not wanting to support a company due to that.

I couldn't help myself and read the alleged spoilers. Honestly, it doesn't dim my excitement for the game. I know Naughty Dog is going to deliver a compelling emotional experience. I knew the main beat of every Marvel movie the last few years and it didn't damper my enjoyment at those points.
