I'm level 13 I am pretty sure, and the sad thing is I have played this quite a bit.

So have it. Haven't played anything else since buying. Leveling up is still new to me though.

This endgame level 139 sub mission boss fight is straight cancer

its the two kings, warrior of the west and warrior of the east. I struggled on tachibana alone at the start of the game, but now I got this fool dashing at me non stop while Honda sits in the back tossing rocks at me? Not only that, I finally killed tachibana once and came close to killing Honda only for him to cast a regen spell that healed 700 health per second. I've probably took down 3 life bars worth of him until I finally died only to start over fighting both of them again.

Just as I post this, I killed them the next try. I thought I was about to lose it when I saw his health going back up I started spamming attacks just to try and out-dps the regen and it worked.

I am level 55 or something and last night I finally tried the easiest Twilight mission. And promptly got my butt handed to me. Wow.

Doesn't seem like levels mean anything in this game which is different that Souls. I am twice what the level of a mission is and still can't beat a boss easily. The enemies seem ok throughout the level.

Fought a revenant and he dropped a warrior of the west sword, purple rare with a purple rare perk scaling A for skill toward damage. Meaning my skill build warrior is so freaking op right now. I love that damn sword. I just cut down the first three bosses in kinki region. Minimal effort really.

The game has really slowed down for me. Getting almost easy. I die plenty but it's because of being careless or not knowing an enemy move set.

Last night I played this for a few hours and wow, I've been playing it wrong.

After taking you guys advice and removing my heavier armor (the armor that came by preordering the game) I went from 105% encumberance to 67% and I was then able to do the Ki recharge and everything changed.

I went from barely being able to fight those big demons to being able to easily take them down without losing hardly any health. I was then able to go through the burning city level and made it to Onkyrito (sp??) and that demon boss took me down about 15-20 times.

It was getting late and I was about to go to bed but then I thought, oh why don't I try that "ask for help" feature? So someone comes into my game named OSOSavage (a fellow OSer???) and took the boss down with ease.

Tonight I plan to fight revenants and get some better equipment. I'm level 18 now I think, went up quickly once I did that armor change out.

Oh yeah, and I hadn't set any of my skills, magic or ninja stuff either! I had like 25 points to spend in everything, LOL.

Sure does help having that stuff when you get in a close fight.

So yeah I spent about 20-25 hours playing this game as one handicapped guy cuz I wasn't doing quite a few things right.

Sold out all over Toronto as well, Bestbuy or EBGames (our version of Gamestop) are all out. I don't think they ordered many to begin with but still, good for Team Ninja, bad for me as I want it but don't want to go digital.

It's mostly about gear. Get good gear with good stats and the game becomes way easier. You don't really have to farm for it either. Just playing the game thoroughly and fighting some Revenants that are a higher level and you should be good. Some luck and increased drop rates on gear will help even more. You can use some of your prestige points to increase your luck too.

Level is fine. Maybe your gear is lacking?

Spear is amazing for this fight. Overall, I honestly feel it's the best beginner weapon. Being able to keep some distance between you and enemies gives you a feeling of safety. Paired with light armor for A agility and you become pretty hard to hit.

Paralysis resistance on gear helps (archer gear I believe has it) or just use a antiparalytic needle if you get stunned. Stay mid-range and bait her attacks out, then get 2 hits in and back off. This is where the spear really helps because of its reach and it makes it easy to stay out of the range of her grapple attack. Some kunai can deplete her Ki when she goes up in the air, knocking her down and giving a chance to get in a grapple attack.

Just farm revenants. There are some side missions that are full of revenants after you've cleared a few mobs. I'd say Ochoko cups are close to a 50% drop rate from revenants.

I just feel like I'm cheating if I summon someone to help me. But I have to have PS+ for that right? Don't pay for online capability
